  1. Hi Dave, its a bit late from the original post, but if your in need of company in the future, i'm only down the road. i have both lamping and NVRS kit ready to rock. regards WB
  2. Anyone from the NW interested in a meet up? a group of us are opening up Rochdale AGC, and the more people we get at meets the better. also looking for new members etc.
  3. i use a xenon scope mounted torch, good to 50 meters. 1 million candlepower one is going to light up mars!! you might as well call it a night after that. get on ebay, have a look at the xenon lamping kits, get a good one for about £20-30. filter wise, give a few a try, i like red, my mates use green, depends on what works for you. you only really want to illuminate proximal targets at any one time, as opposed to the whole field. try this ebay user: outlet1956 he usually has some good night vision, from israel, but i have had stuff from him a few times before with no problem, and delivery is very reasonable. WB
  4. Hi fellas, sorry bout the delay, email rochdaleagc@yahoo.co.uk and i'll send some meber info over etc. We're looking at the first club meet this week sometime, be good to have you along. WB
  5. i think you'd be daft to take less than £400.

    New Club

Hi Fellas, OK, premises found, help needed. i need to get numbers together now, membership for full year is £50 adult £30 Junior and session prices are £3 adult member and £2 Junior member Non members session fees will be £6 adult and £4 Junior. i will be knocking up the membership forms tonight. this is consideerably cheaper than any other clubs in the area, and i now need to gather the numbers to calculate costs. THIS IS STRICTLY A NON PROFIT CLUB, AND ALL REVENUES WILL GO BACK INTO DEVELOPING THE SITE AND CLUB FACILITIES. Your support will be much appreciated Rochdale Airgun Sports Association is Born!
  7. Hi Guys, I've been shooting air rifles since i was a kid, however my grandads land is a bit dry, and targets are now old hat..... In and around the area of Rochdale, permissions are hard come by, and i prefer to do things the right way as i'm in the army as well. I have thought many times over, and finally managed to get around to getting advice; i'm toying with the idea of setting up a new local club, as the ones that used to reside in these parts have long since faltered, i don't really know where to start with legal stuff, i'm sure i can aquire the premises/land for the job without any undue difficulty, and just need to know how to go about things the correct way. Like i said, there is b*gger all in Rochdale for anyone with a rifle, and i'd rather any shooting was done responsibly. Plus, i'd have somewhere to shoot for a start..... I've been trying the permissions route for a while now, and if someone somewhere knows of anyone or anyplace where i'd be permitted to slay even a handful of tree rats or conies, i'd be much obliged..... Hope to hear something back. WB
