  1. I recently bought some Karrimor lace up snow boots from SportsDirect primarily to play in the snow with my daughter but i wore them shooting today and they were fantastic..lovely and warm, supportive and waterproof all for a bargain 30 quid. http://www.sportsdirect.com/karrimor-snow-boot-mens-183204
  2. spot on......the so called celebrities often jump on the band wagon but i bet a pound to a penny they donate nothing themselves (unless they get a tax break out of it)
  3. Sorry to start another 'what jacket' thread but i really can't decide between the above 2 jackets. The Jack Pyke seems really good value and has good feedback on here but not can't find much about the Seeland, i will be using if for both Pigeon shooting and some driven Game shoots, i do layer up in the winter but would like some padding in the jacket as well. I can't find a stockist of either jacket nearby so it would have to be an unseen online purchase unfortunately, obviously if i could try both on in a shop i'd know straight away which would suit my needs best. Or if you know of any similar jackets (non camo) under £70 please let me know. Any advice/recommendations would be great.
  4. Thanks guys, much appreciated.....i may well peruse ann summers at a later date.
  5. I'm looking to buy a new winter shooting jacket (not camo) and wondered if anybody can recommend some online shops to me, if they've got some bargains even better. I've tried Uttings, John Norris, Deep Blue and looked on Ebay, there must be loads more though. Thanks in advance.
  6. Thanks for the welcomes...i may well be bombarding you all with questions now though.
  7. To be honest i've been lurking here for quite a while now, just reading and learning a great deal so i thought it was time i should finally start posting. I'm 35 and from Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk and have always been interested in shooting since my teenage years; primarily air rifles but i now also enjoy Pigeon shooting and had my first go at a game shoot last week. I don't currently have my own shotgun (been using a friends) but do have an Air Arms TX200HC air rifle which doesn't get used all that much at the moment although i'm thinking of giving Hunter Field Target a go and am currently looking at clubs nearby. Anyway i'm glad i've finally made a post and i hope to continue to learn and enjoy the forum.
