I'm in Middleton too mate
Hey mate, whereabouts are you in Midd, let us know if you fancy a shoot sometime.
-
Hi mate,
Not too far from you, just in Middleton.
-
Hi i went out for a day with his Phill beasley last year and i had a cracking day shot just under 200 and my mate shot just over 200 he was a few fields over. they sorted every thing out for us and kept intouch all day to make sure things were going ok the battery on the magnet started to run out so i gave phill a ring five minute's latter he was there with a new one. I personaly had a great day and intend to sort out another day this year with a few mates if we get time. And befour every one starts saying they would not pay for pigeon shooting i have over 3000 acres i can shoot pigeon over but its nice to go some where different for a change and let some one else do all the hard work for you.
Hi,
What was you charged if you don't mind me asking.
Cheers

I forever seemed to be going out of the hide to fix the wings that kept turning inside out in the wind, also if any of your carbon rods break then your ****, they arent bad in general but i found they spooked more birds than they attracted.
I have used mine for around 6 months and find them to be very good, as Cranfiled has said shorten the wire (Fishing line) on them and
you should have no problems with them wings turning over.
A also find the carbon rods a little short but have not had them popping out like some others have.
-
Yes i had the same problem as the line was too long, after shortening they did not flip over.
However
I also find that the Carbon rods come out of the wings a little too often.
I think there a little too short to be honest !

Yep, Id guestimate about the same Baz
I'll give them a bash this week. hopefully they will be fine.
Alternatively i'll phone UKSW if they seem to pop out constantly, may have been a incorrectly measured when cut

Hi,
Bought some this week, mine are probably around 10mm short either side when inserted, not a tight fit as some have suggested with there's.

Hi
Just wondering what happened with this offer in the end.
Best regards
-
i looove beretta's also
-
Hi Baz,
I checked that, Beretta now only supply four Optima chokes with the 682. 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 and Cylinder.
If you have spare Optima chokes lying around PM with what you have and how much you want for them, I'd be interested in Full, 1/4 and Cylinder.
Cheers,
Brownetta
hi brownetta,
they must of only recently changed the amount of chokes supplied, as one of my mates bought one (682) around 3-4 weeks ago and he had 5, although the shop may have had the gun in for some time i suppose.
i definetly have a spare Full i'll check the others although it'll have to be tomorrow, as i'm away at a friends till then.
regards, baz
-
not a problem, i'm sure but i think you should have 5 chokes with the gun browning
i may have a few spare if your missing any chokes you normally use.
-
thanks jim,
glad you like, now stop drooling
-
had my delivery today from shootwarehouse, very happy with it all, and well packaged,
-
hi browning,
i use a 682 and thinks it's a brilliant gun for the £, i do have a preference for beretta's but i don't think you can pick anything up really better for the dosh (in my opinino)

DIY was £60, guided was £125.

most people go for the pump due to reliability as dave said, especially military etc.
no need to worry about light/heavy loads cycling properly, just pump it so to speak and off you go.
also you really can tell the difference with the weight with a FAC shooty (in my opinion) the extra cartridges are adding that bit of extra weight.

please enjoy yourself

how often are your orders sent out will, i'm not comparing your deliveries to anyone else's, just looking to order something,
daily or a few times a week
hah ha.....Christ if it was weekly we'd never get anthing done! We send out around 25 parcels a day matey, there's two packers working downstairs and Steve and Sandy take the phone orders upstairs. We have just employed a new girl to help with the packing which should help move things out faster too.
That said though we have had a big problem with obtaining stock, and on some orders we have, admittedly, been quite slow to get things out to customers. Basically we can sell it faster than our suppliers can supply us which has been a bit of a problem so its best if your ordering something to check on availability first. Just call Steve to check on 01869 278946.
thanks for the reply will,
look forward to receiving my goodies
