  1. i know around 5 people with 391's the only trouble any of them have had with regards cycling has been a bent carrier, you can usually sort this with the help of a vise. many of them never (lazy ****) clean there guns and they work perfectly.

mine cycled without fault with very light-heavy loads.

although many people like to put heavy loads through a new gun(auto) to break the gun in, i used light loads without problem :)

  6. thanks for the very quick replies,

i think i'll use the 682 for now, i suppose i better see if there are actually any pigeons on the land i'm going on first.

with regards the 391 martin i had one until a month ago not a teknys but a urika, which i hardly used so i sold it to bamfords at eccleston for £100 less than it was new, so i lost very little on it.

it was a spare gun really just for my mates to use when they fancied giving the clays a go as a bit of a day out for them.

I want to give the pigeons a go so i can spend most of the day shooting rather than an hour or so on the clays.

that's if i actually manage to hit any.

    thanks...baz

  7. Hello all,

    Great site you have here,

I normally shoot sporting clays, with a 682 Gold E, I’m looking at buying a spare gun just for pigeons and like the look and feel of the sil-pig v,

Do you think there would be any disadvantages using my current gun, or is a game gun noticeably better for the job.

    regards......baz
