  6. Hi all, I go out shooting regularly and often think about taking my son. He comes with me to shoot targets when i'm zeroing and shoots the AAs200 with bipod, when he puts his mind to it can be a good shot!. He hasn't got the hang of distances yet as that will take time obviously, but is quiet eager to slot something. I tell him theres more than just killing something, there's fieldcraft and all sorts of other things he needs to learn. He also dosen't have the patients to sit and wait for something and can get bored quiet easily He is 8 and lives with me as his mum moved to Bristol, i'm just wandering how many of you take your kids out shooting and what effect it has on them? I will wait out for your comments, thanks for reading. Regards Mags
  7. Hi Red, yep!! shot me a pigeon this morning, head shot! i knocked him straight of a branch 30 foot up. Stupid pigeon was still alive when he hit the deck, i have found shooting pigeon in the head dosen't always kill them right away. But i think if you were to shoot them side on and smash through the wing and shoulder it would do the trick. Don't shoot them in the crop as its full of what they've been eating and the pellet won't do much damage . Also have you tried using lofters it work for me.... i know its only one but i had to go pick my son up at 0900hrs for karate which didn't help me :( . I'm out again tomorrow having another go! I also shoot with a air rifle. :( Rgards Mags
  8. Rgr that tom!! was 7RHA, and regret coming out... but hey good to hear your ole mans a drop short. Regards Mags
  9. Works for me! I tend to have the crow facing away from my hideand at a distance from my other deecs. I also find that by putting the deec crow on the ground other crows will sit in nearby trees and call others in, which is when you can bag a few. Mags
  10. I get it really bad, my left side of my thigh is numb where i"ve damaged the nerve.... have you tried sleeping with a pillow between your knees? If you have sciatica sometimes they can't cure it, because of nerve damage. Hope all goes well for you though! Mags
  11. I'd say my AAs410c, i've shot a few air rifles and the AAS410 is cock on for me, i have a mucker who shoots with theoben .177, and at the end of the day its each to their own at the end of the day.
  12. I know this sounds daft an all!! but this car of your mates, insured is it? 3rd party? now i'm not saying it was him............... This could be an insurance job?? But lets just say for example.... the car fails mot, its parked out side the mot center, your mate cant make it, so you let the owner know? When they come to do the work on it, Hey presto its been broken into... Now correct me if i'm wrong, which i could be? but if they were going to nick it!! they would have!! if you get my drift....... I'm always aware and cant trust anyone!! I hope i'm wrong! Mags
