  1. I fancy this gun as well. Would be used for rough shooting and maybe the odd clay.
  2. What's the point of the pistol grip?
  3. The Hatsan Arms Escort MPS Shotgun and Hatsan Arms Escort MPa Shotgun look good. The MPA has a pistol grip would that have any point for pigeon or clay shooting?
  4. I guess I'm also leaning towards the pump as it will cyclee eeverything.
  5. Are there still cycling issues with the autos?
  6. I prefer the look of the pump so that will prob swing it for me
  7. Any disadvantage of the pump over the semis?
  8. The Mrs is going to treat me to a rough shooting gun for Christmas with a budget of 350 tops. Having looked around the net I'm liking the following 12G Hatsan Escort Field Hunter synethetic shotgun which is available new at 328 from here http://www.guns.gb.com/contents/en-uk/ d148_Hatsan_Arms_Escort_field_hunter_pump_action.html It will be mainly used in hive against pigeons so what length barrel? 24,26,28 or 30inch barrel available. The second option is is a semi auto version of the gun which is 388 new from the same site. I look forward to your thoughts.
  9. He's managed 43 years with none shooting rabbits regularly but with me hitting it every 6 to 8 weeks I'll at least dent them!
  10. Can u get pushchair in boot?
  11. It just goes to show that there's still land out there to be had. Now all I gotta do is find land in Kent
  12. Its pretty good as farm is only 15 mins from my parents so got somewhere to crash and I got enough land to make a good weekend of shooting out of it.
  13. Problem is I live in Kent and all this lands in Cornwall.
  14. I went to see the farmer last night and he said " ah my neighbour john (Farmer) wont mind you shooting on his land either". So he's going to introduce me this week hopefully and I'll have the neihbouring farm as well
  15. Has anyone had much experience with the Freelander 2.2 TD4 in terms of lamping with a .22 rimfire and how it performs off road in muddy fields etc. I'm thinking of splashing out on a 2008 Freelander 2.2 TD4. It will also be used on the long motorway trip from Kent to Cornwall to see my parents and I have shooting land in Cornwall. It would also need to carry all my guns and decoying equipment when I'm out on the pigeons . Borich
  16. If you want to cause W H smith problems do a foi (freedom of information). Eg all emails or correspondence relating to the magazine issue. By law they have to do it. If you want me to take the lead on this send me a private message. I deal with this issue a lot to work.

  18. Many thank for all your help. I will e-mail Cornwall and Devon Police to find out if the land has been cleared for any shooting. From what the farmer has said it look like it virgin shooting land Borich
  19. Cheers, i'll just got for a pump or semi not not sure which one I prefer yet so need to make my mind up asap.
  20. Just filling out my FAC form and in Part B section 19 I am applying for the following: .22LR for rabbits Semi Auto shotgun (8 shot for pigeons) Pump Action Shotgun (8 shot for pigeons) What would be best to put down for dealing with foxes ? In terms silencer, scope etc do I need to list all this on on form as well? Where it asks 'where do you intend to use it' I take it I just provide the full farm address. As the land I'm shooting in is in Cornwall and I live in Kent will the police require me to have a rifle cabinet installed in Cornwall (at my parents) or would they accept that I can store it at my neighbours who already has a FAC? Sorry for all the newby questions but I don't want to fill something stupid on the forms! Also is it worth applying for a FAC air rifle as one of the fields i'll be shooting on is near the farm house and I'm sure the farmer would prefer I used a airgun there. Borich
  21. I was thinking of this scope until i got NS200 but it does seem rather silly idea.
  22. I'm thinking of this one as the night shooting/ low light is an attractive option. http://www.deben.com/hawke-nite-eye-digital-riflescopes/HK5147.html
  23. I'll mostly be shooting at night with ns2000 night vision and this scope seems to meet my requirements hawke eye Nite-Eye Digital 6-24x50 SR12 for 199. When applying for fac rifle do you apply to have two rifle one for day setup and the other for day setup?
