I ask for a cammo type and just open box and ot was just green :-(

I also wanted a spotter scope but did not see any

  2. Do these fall within the BSA build standard required for storage ?

( i only ask as it asks this on renewal and application forms)

My future brother-in-law is after one !

    ATB

    Matt

yes mate. The large one was removed from a police station and the small one is a proper shop brought type but I just cant remember the maker of it.

  3. I have just upgraded from 2 gun cabinets to one big one.

first up is a 5 gun (unknown make) not home made though comes with 2 sets of key £60

The second one is a large 4 gun safe with a large ammo safe inside with 2 sets of keys. £150

I can add sizes if needed :good:

  4. Will have a look, but it may be a case of calling in a favour of a good machinist (if you know any) with access to a lathe.

I know of a USA firm that specialises in such things, but by the time you've added the shipping/duty it'd be cheaper just going to Jackson Rifles...

Thank you for all your help. I will go see a man I no in the morning.

    Thanks again

  5. Or NOT

I tried this method...they only do the work in-house!

You must send them the mod. Pity, as otherwise I'd have several bushings to suit different rifle threads

Another option may be to look into different thread adapters...these will work out cheaper IF you know the thread the mod is at present, etc.

I could prob work it out as it is of my Tikka T3 Vermint and I want it to go on my Tikka T3 light both we're screw cut from the factory

  6. Jackson Rifles will do the bushing swap, about £40 inc return P&P

Top man, I will give them a call save posting the mod and get a bush thanks. Now all I have to do is to work how to get the old one out lol

  7. Is this the little dinky one for the 22lr and hmr? If so, take the end cap off and then use a liberal amount of saintly patience to tap the washers out.

Allow yourself a month for reassembly.

No mate it's the one that looks like a big can of beans on the end of your rifle lol.

I brought a new rifle this weekend and the thread is different and I want to no if the nut can be removed with out wrecking the mod ?
