  1. I have just read all the tributes to my shooting mate, and am very touched by all, as with his send off. Many thanks to all .
  2. MY SHOOTING BUDDY It was not untill I returned from holliday that I heard the sad news that paul had passed away. I found out when I called to his house, expecting to see him when his wife told me. He was my shooting buddy for the past 10 years or so, enjoying his shooting so much. Specialising in pigeon and the black vermin. Being the perfectionist in the art of decoying hoping to attain the magic TON, which he achieved last year on his favourite crop to shoot over, much to his delight and mine. As a keen administrator of his loving PIGEONWATCH known as ERNHYA to all on the site, made so many friends whom he met on numerous occations. My oppologies to all for my late contribution Iam deeply touched by the warm messages of condolences which I will convey to his wife and family. He will be a sadly missed by all. GOODBY OLD FRIEND GOD BLESS
  3. I found out tonight when I called round expecting to see him, his wife told me what happened I was shocked. My shooting partner for the last 10 years or more . He enjoyed his pigeon shooting, being outdoors chatting to farmers only willing to help them . Being the perfectionist in the art of decoying hoping for the elusive TON, which he attained last year on rape stubble, much to his delight and mine. As a keen administrator to his loving PIGEON WATCH he became friends to many whom he met on occations at GAME FAIR EVENTS. We will all miss him. GOODBYE OLD FRIEND GOD BLESS
  4. Hi there rb5037 /.. Congratulations great minds think alike. I have just designed a similar deek myself along a similar principle. I inserted an aluminium tubing across the width of the decoy then passed a wire through it and attached two wings at the ends of the wire ,with the ends turn up ,similar to a kiddies windmill . The principle of this was for the wind to blow against the wings causing them to rotate. The result of this action being that the pigeon would come screaming into the deeks! That was the theory but it took a strong wind to rotate the wings and further work needs to be done to perfect it. Seeing your BLOWJO has given me new ideas how to improve project 1. Us pigoen shooters are an inventive lot forever trying new ideas. Best of luck with MARK 2.
