Best bit of advice I ever got when it came to pheasant shooting is if there is sky around the bird then its a safe shot. Don't fire into the trees and don't fire at low birds...

I lived in west monkseaton for 21 years and as far as I can remember those fields have been blue with pigeons for years! Recently wondered who had the permission on there! Ive gotta drive about 35 mins to get to my permission now!

Remmy, have you got the permission to shoot the fields around the bee hive road in Seaton Deleval? Ive always noticed a hell of a lot of pigeons around there!

Do you have any decoying equipment? Any hide equipment (poles, nets etc)?

Get a rotary from UKShootwarehouse - My pigeon shooting has completely changed since ive bought it. I swear by it! I also bought a pair of hypaflaps, these are very effective when there is very little or no wind because they are so light. I always take the hypaflaps off once ive got 2 live birds to put on the rotary.
