Gosh, this could develop into a gravey thread !!
I can’t use veg water because I steam my veg. So, mine is variation on a theme. If it’s roast lunch / dinner I achieve the same thing by frying off / soften a small onion, add water, veg cube worcs sauce and herbs and all the vegetable trimmings chopped. eg cauli and broccoli leaves a stump, carrot / swede peel etc. I do not include potato or parsnip peel. It’s not time consuming because I’m preparing the veg anyway. This simmers for ages while preparing the rest of the meal. It’s strained off and when the meat is resting the veg water is used to get all of the meat juices from the roasting tin then thickened with bisto. Gert Lush.

The good thing about cheap dash cams is if the accident is the other guys fault you have the evidence. If it’s your fault you throw it away 😂😂
That said, I’ve had Nextbase in both my previous and current cars and very happy with them. Current one is 322GW.

Reading this thread and the previous 23 page thread (now closed) I begin to wonder whether there is anybody on this planet that shares what appears to be Connor O’Gormans arrogant misplaced self belief in his own superior intellectual debating skills and knowledge. I suspect he is in the majority of one.
If his views and approach are representative of the BASC core thinking then were it not a condition of my permission I would leave the BASC with immediate effect.
Henceforth I will ignore any thread where Conor O’Gorman is the OP.

Curiosity got the better of me and I wondered whether what is being described by the OP was a a police caution, possibly a Conditional Caution.
As an alternative to prosecution the offender is required to follow certain conditions as an alternative to prosecution and these condition can also include a fine. (Sentencing Council). If it was one of these then it seems that it would show up on basic DBS checks.just a thought. Now back to my morning paper

As to the requirements of flying with one, posing a similar question Gov.UK confirms “hold luggage only and check with your airline”

An interesting article on the BBC News App on a young couple scammed having used the market place. It reports the Action Fraud statistic that complaints about being scammed on the marketplace has more than quadrupled in the past four years from 4,923 in 2019 to 20,735 last year !

As far as I’m aware Chris Charles at Extreme Marine SW Ltd ships his out to IDEST test centre, but Cromhall tests and cleans on site. (Willing to be corrected)

I’ve only ever decoyed pigeons with a rotary so no experience using one for crows. I have heard mixed views from “great” to “scares them off”.
I have a choice of decoys for the rotary. A plastic fixed wing landing crow (also useful as a bouncer): 2 hyperflap crows: and , a full body one with spinning wings. Also, a speed controller for slower speeds if necessary

Much depends on whether you’re looking for family holiday, or just with a partner, and what your interests are.
Some years back we chose not to visit beach type resorts and as an alternative do a bit of city breaks sight seeing. We flew in to Lisbon for a few days then caught the train to Porto and stopped off on the way at one of the large university towns, then Porto for a few days from where you can do a trip to the Douro wine valley. The only down side was we had cabin bags and couldn’t bring back any Port!! -

Has anyone used these and how do you rate them?
Also, I’ve I’ve seen crow hyper flaps for bouncer poles, but they seem to have unduly / unrealistically large wingspan.advice on either would be appreciated. Thanks.

To my pallet Ballantines Whisky is a smooth blended whisky, although I do keep my eye on Tesco’s offers on malt whiskies.

Thank you one and all. By chance I visited the clay ground last Sunday and asked the question. The response was yes, he could use their ground under their licence accompanied by an experienced SGC holder

I see no difference between this and hare coursing which is illegal under the Hunting Act 2004. It should be banned.

A friend has applied for a SGC and is now in the queue…….. meanwhile, he would like to try various shotguns shooting clays.
Am I right in my thinking that provided we carried our shotguns into and out of the clay ground - so that he does not become in possession of a shotgun without a SGC, that he may shoot clays under the clay shooting ground licence?
Advice welcomed. Thank you.

Have a look at the “Scoville” SAF101B Air fryer oven at Asda. 11 ltrs with rotisserie. Significantly cheaper than the Breville and good reviews. B-in-Law bought us one for Xmas. Yet to try the rotisserie function. He uses it often and is very pleased with results.
