High velocity

Dont know of any. But but there again if you are shooting at 12ftlb it is ok but 12.5ftlb or 50ftlb it is classed as a fire arm . As you will probably allready know. However close it is over the 12ftlb legal limit it will be illegal. You are best sticking to about 11.5. It seems to me that the threads that i have read on this forum seem to be from people with a bit more sense than to put themselves into that situation.

Just thiught i would mention. whent out sat afternoon and shot 23 rabbits (must get dig camara post pikys) with air rifle, while getting them ready for the freezer i found that 3 of them had pellets under the skin from some body elses shooting. they were either a long way off out of range or using a low powered air rifle. Its annoying that folk just go and buy an air gun and expect to be an ace shot with it over night without putting in any effort whatsoever. Just having a moan :< :<

Forgot to ask is it possible to attatch a bi pod to a rapid at the moment i am using a small fishing tripod, it works a treat but is a bit of a pain in the rs to keep using, i like the harris type put cant see any way to fix it on. and you cant put one on the barrel for obious reasons.

Thanks, looks impresive, if i go upto 28ftlb will my accuracy suffer. at present i am putting out a 1/2 inc group at 45yds with the odd flier would it improve with a longer barrel ?

I know it sound a silly ? but i have seen pigeons, quite a few about 50, on a potato field. i was wondering if anyone has decoyed on this crop before. and would the farmer appreciate you shooting them any way.

Thanks chaps how about putting a 19inch barrell on ive been told that it improves accuracy and gives you more shots and what sort of grouping can i expect from a rapid doing about 28 - 30 ftlbs, and were can get a Robert Lane silencer from ? ?

Thanks Rob, Is the Logan about the best on the market as people say. At the mo i have the evo but have been looking at the Ripley they look well made and sound good asswell but are they worth the xtra money, about £80. and could anyone say weather if the silencer was longer would it make it less accurate?

Hi been reading most of the topics in the forum, and just wondered if anyone can answer the ? I have a rapid and as it is it is quiet i was wondering if it is put on ticket (fac) would it be much noisier, what sort of power would be best and would i loose accuracy. I have been shooting for over 35yrs, with shot gun & centre fire The rapid i have had for just over 10yrs Many thanks :unsure:
