  1. Only the Beretta 687 performed trouble free this day . Are you telling me its going to play up next time we go out ? ? No its Berty. Didnt do to bad either on the clays i think i will do better though after a visit to spec savers. if your out tomorrow dont forget your thermals. and remember to count to 1 hundred if theres no "BANG"
  2. I have a few pictures that i took, after keeping the 35ml under my waxproof for a while. i had lost some of them only have a few left of the harris coming to the glove from a frost covered tree about 75yds away using a motor drive on my camera. didnt get any rabbits that day but a memory of the bird will be forever in my mind. The owner of the bird was a chap called John Bennet. sure he wont mind having a mention
  3. Kip read your post and tears in MY eyes what a terrible thing to happen. i really feel for you. as you say it was some years ago, but to loose as much as that . well sorry it happened. some years ago i used to go hawking with a mate who also had a Harris.. out of this world .on this one day it was that cold the batteries in the camera would not work well. but what a brill day. nice pictures of what was a few good days shooting though. HV
  4. hooray  I know to a few of you who are still being educated it is no great achievment to post a picture. But to me well i am ded chuffed. any way a few shot this afternoon. now i know what to do i can send the family album
  5. one last go before i get profesional help.
  6. hi just posted my first ever picture and like loads of others i think i have made a boo bowere is it
  7. I think that i am going to be a bit different on this one every person i have spoken to seems to rate the CZs. Ok i did ask on this forum which is the one to have, and the overwhelming mojority go for CZs. "BUT" i am going to be different. having looked at and felt nearly all that have been produced. i have fallen in love with one lovely looking peace of kit. I have even had dreams about it  must be love
  8. There are foxes on my permision but as the only farming round there is dairy i dont see the fox as a problem. It is not a pest in my eyes in "that" location. so until any change in circumstances for charlie then i will only admire him. Rabbits and crows are different story.
  9. Not sure but isnt the one that pj is selling a limited edition left handed version. AND comes with free blingy folding ruler SORRY.nice photo though
  10. Cheers nick, food for thought there, its a pity that you cant try before you buy. thanks also for all other comments. just opened that all important very nice looking brown envelope stamped crime stoppers in the corner. didnt take as long as i thought after reading posts on hear i was expecting it to be after christmas, only took 6 1/2 weeks from my application. It also has on certificate that 17hmr shall be used for fox/vermin. thanks all hv
  11. Thanks for the feed back "but" is there anything wrong with the weihrauch ? dunganick mentioned the bolt being heavy but it looks, well, really nice, i have not heard anybody mention much about them i just wondered why. is it the price or any other reason ? Thanks hv
  12. It was bril wish there were more programes like that on. as ive said it does really hit home the importance of pest CONTROL in the countryside. The chap using the rifle must have been bloody good it showed what seemed to be him traveling about 30mph on a quad and hitting bunnies whith a rifle
  13. I have now recieved confarmation off flo and awaiting my best ever birthday and christmas card rolled into one envelope to come through the post The process of filling in the form and having my interview with the staffs fire arms department officer (very nice chap) was i thought hard work But then comes the most difficult job of all CHOOSING THE .17 HMR WHICH ONE DO I GO FOR ? ? ? ? ? i first looked at savage and yes it was "savage" you needed a tool kit to use the bolt and a jemmy to remove the magazine. i did like the look laminate & ss heavy barrel. cz looks ok price is good ruger not looked at yet tomorrow at sporting supplies weihrauch look very nice, trigger good -but pricy I am not the kind of person who swaps and changes so what i buy is for keeps, til it wears away
  14. Just to remind all and everyone who is reading this post.. If you have an accident at work it must be reported in the accident book. for your own benefit as well as the companys I hope your friend is not too uncomfortable, and gets better soon.
  15. I think it would have to be in the sporting pictures section for me to truly believe
