  1. I purchased this towards the end of february and have put less than 200 cartridges through it. (It takes a hundred to damp down the baffles and achieve maximum sound moderation). I live with some land of my own, but quite a lot of neighbours. Being able to rough shoot with a gun that does not need ear protection ( even when using non hushpower, supersonic cartridges) is a joy. My hearing suffered from working in a very noisy industry and I simply cannot risk damaging it further. But with this gun and no ear defenders I could hear the pheasants as soon as they started to move. With only 2 days of the season left I hit more pheasants than the rest of the season put together. It's also great for pigeon shooting, much less disturbance and the birds are back sooner. Cost £760. But sudden financial crisis means I've got to sell all sorts of things. Complete with 200 Gamebore hushpower cartridges I am asking £500 o.n.o. see http://www.saddleryandgunroom.co.uk/Gunroom/SG_Hushpower.htm if you are not familiar with this amazing bit of kit. NOW SOLD
  2. Has any one got a pigeon magnet in good working order that I could pick up this weekend.
  3. I bought this gun new for £250 a few years ago when my sons wanted to do some clay pigeon shooting in the field where we keep our little flock of sheep. It has been used once a year for one morning only, for our Boxing day competition. I have now retired and decided that I would like to do some serious shooting. Have bought a new 20g o/u for pigeon shooting and a Sako .22rf for rabbits, both of which are serious pests about here in Suffolk. The metalwork of this gun is immaculate. The wood of the stock is frankly cheap and has a small chip where the stock joins the action. It has an oversize rubber butt fitted. (All four of us are tall). Basically a decent cheap gun for someone starting into shooting. I am looking for £125 ono. Half what I paid new.
  4. I have a Baikal 12g side by side. It has a small chip out of the woodwork beside the action, but otherwise is in excellent condition. I live near Stowmarket in Suffolk. It has only been used for our family clay shoot on Boxing day each year for about five years. Has probably fired a couple of thousand rounds. I have just retired and am going to do some serious pigeon shooting. I find a 12g has too much recoil for my ageing shoulder and am buying a 20g gun. I often travel down to SE London and could meet you somewhere on route if you were interested. £150 is OK but I would not be prepared to go lower.
  5. Stowmarket Suffolk. FAC application with Suffolk Constabulary. Have Shotgun cert already and am not expecting any problems. Looking for Sako or Anschutz 22lr. Left handed. Give me a ring?
