  1. I personally love France and Paris. The louvre is a must see. Napoleons tomb is interesting just for it's size, the Eiffel tower is cool but watch for pickpockets and beggars near it. Me and my mrs went to an amazing restaurant off the champs elysee going away from the arc. It had fresh seafood outside. Best meal I ever had and about £60 without the wine about 6 years ago. I had a massive lobster. The markets are interesting. Just enjoy walking and lap up the French way of life.
  2. Selling my iPhone. It's about 1 year old now and although I love it I'm getting something a little tougher and less flash. Not much to say really, will come with charger and cables. It has a plastic protective case and the screen is scratch free. The back of the phone has a few small scratches. It's on O2 but I believe it's very easy to unlock now. £160 Ono
  3. I may have over priced this looking around. £180 picked up.

  5. Dando I live opposite Manchester golf club off the roundabout. I think I tried getting permission on your land if it's where I'm thinking of. Was it you I spoke to? I was with my daughter.
  6. Welcome mate from a Middleton lad
  7. Tried them and they failed. Tried sleeping on the couch with ear plugs on too. Their bark just fills the house
  8. exactly mate, but I have a young family and I'm away at nights now. I wouldn't want to get physical and have them start messing about when I'm not there. I'm a big lad and do a lot of martial arts, but my mrs and children are vulnerable when I'm away. I'm so tired I feel physically sick. Anyone got a couch going spare this arvo?
  9. Let me just clarify, I got home from a 15 hour shift at 9am and they appear to have been quiet now for 20 minutes. Well over 3 hours of constant barking from 2 dogs when I've been out all night the last 2 nights is hard to stick. It has been this way for maybe 2 years but it's affecting me now because I'm at home in the day. The neighbours are fully aware because they scream at the dogs on weekend days to shut up. Just to add, as I was writing this, the windowcleaner has turned up and they're going ape again.
  10. I've been knocking all week mate. When they're home I'm at work. Left a note so they know I want to talk to them and it's pleasant. It just said I'm home tonight can you knock on when you get home. I was considering offering to walk them to tire them out. Honestly though, I'm a good neighbour and their dogs and son and his scally mates smoking drugs and throwing joint ends in my back garden mean they're not the best of neighbours. I can do things the wrong way, but I'm trying to be polite, even with no sleep.
  11. They're inside the house next door. They stay in the bedroom upstairs, stand on their windowsill and bark all day. Well over 2 hours without a break now. Can I ring environmental health even though our houses are privately owned? I thought it was only council houses. I'm going to give them a chance, but I want to know my options if they start acting the goat
  12. Alright all, need some advice from you learned lot. I recently started my shifts working as a firefighter. I work two 10 hour day shifts and two 14 hour night shifts. The nights are hard and very busy and I need to sleep when I get home. What I've found however is next doors dogs bark constantly during the day meaning I can't sleep and be ready for night shifts. I'm a dog lover and can put up with noise, but in around 52 hours I've had 7 hours sleep and my patience is wearing thin. These dogs next door are never walked and ones a springer, so it has a lot of energy. What can I do about it? I've left a note for the owners to come round to my house when they're in to discuss the dogs, but I'm sick of being mr reasonable. Their dogs never shut up, the cats use my garden as a toilet and their garden is full of shog dit. Can the council or Rspca do something? All legit suggestions welcome. A tired Wesman
  13. I'm putting this back up for sale. New guitars are being bought. Any offer considered. In my opinion, this guitar is far superior to the yamaha pacificas and they go on eBay for about £120. £90 cash and it's yours. In addition to the above I've changes the pickups since to Mexican fat strat pickups and I've got 2 packets of ernie ball 10g strings
  14. me too!!! Well, I've not planned what helmet I'm wearing yet, but the harley and food definitely. My mrs and kids can jump in with yours and we'll easy rider it.
  15. lol  I'll see if I can dig the picture out. I got very lucky I think. On topic, I think you have a point.
  16. No worries. That's a nice gun and if I had £300 I'd have it off you.
  17. I've got a 360 elite with about 8 games and the guitar hero thing. Of any interest to you?
  18. Sounds good. I want to do route 66 from end to end
  19. I caught a 2.2lb roach from the Rochdale canal. Biggest fish I ever caught
  20. I see the police regularly and know how hard their job is. In my opinion however, this is disproprtionate use of force. Even if someone is being uncooperative, you have to remain professional. There is no evidence of her being drunk. She might have been, but it can't be proven.
  21. Sounds really good, especially the little lesson for newbs
