One of mine on the edge of the Peak District is £2.5k for 8 x 80 birds days, with a significant waiting list for aspiring members !

The good people at ASI importers should sell you what you will need to undertake the task.
Well worth a phone call.

I've got the Gen 3, and they are spot on, however, I have twice dropped them and the "v yoke " as they call it has broken off at the point where it quick releases into the main item.
Bushwear were good suppliers of the replacements that I needed, on both occasions.

I have been tasked with booking a shoot advisory visit.
Has anyone used BASC or the GWCT for this purpose and if so were you satisfied.
Both are about £550 for the visit ( half day ) and the report.
Thanks,
Tony

A mate has just got the Roll Royce Cullinan ( 4 x 4 ) and he had to wait 18 months for a vacant slot in their production programme to facilitate this, so their order book must have been full for a few years !
Rich folk always seem to do OK !

Has anyone got a 12 Ga cartridge extractor that they are wanting to sell.

Thanks

I am wanting a few slabs of Fiocchi Pigeon 32g No 6 shot felt wad cartridges and my usual supplier ( J F Neville ) has none.
Can anyone suggest a known supplier within say 50 miles of Sheffield.
I would rather support a local RFD than order online.
Thanks

My good friend is actually " centrepin " on this forum, so perhaps he can help !

Effectively they have awarded SGC's and FAC's and then reconsidered and withdrawn them.
Or evidence has become available that, during the life span of their certificates, they have become unsuitable certificate holders.

Derbyshire Police Rural Crime team have posted this on FB.
"Over the last few weeks the Rural Crime Team have seized approximately 30 firearms from Derbyshire residents owing to their conduct and concern over their suitability to be firearms certificate holders.
In Derbyshire there is and always has been intense scrutiny and robust safeguarding around firearms licensing, systems are in place to protect the public 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The public and in particular firearms certificate holders should be under no illusion that should evidence come to light that an individual is no longer suitable to hold a certificate, their firearms and certificate will be seized by officers and a comprehensive review conducted by our Firearms Licencing Team to establish if that person’s certificate should be revoked. The key word in that sentence is “evidence” all cases will be thoroughly investigated and firearms holders can be confident that the outcome will be evidence based. Any offences involving violence and alcohol or any incident that calls into question the persons fitness to possess firearms will likely result in them being seized.
Can we make it clear to all those who hold firearms certificate and to those who are considering applying for a certificate, your conduct matters and swift, robust action will be taken if your suitability is called into question. The issuing of a firearms certificate is a privilege not a right and we need to be confident that those who hold valid certificates are fit to do so."I give this my full support, as a responsible certificate holder.

Kent Gunsmiths have a stunner listed on Stalking Directory for a 1k.
Seen it, it looks great but I don't like the style of the sidelock on it, but, thank you for your kind help.

Will do, thanks

I am after an English 20 bore sidelock ejector ideally with 28" barrels.
Nothing on the internet seems to appeal to me.
Has anyone got one to offer for sale via a PM.
Cheers.

I regularly give a B I seller ( outside my local Aldi ) a good few quid, and I dont take the magazine from him.
I have been fortunate in life and if I can help anyone I will, irrespective of their circumstances.

I need one shooter ( no guests armed or unarmed ! ) to help on perhaps 2 nights per week shooting rats over 2 farms on the South Yorks / Derbyshire border area ( S12 postcode ).
An air rifle ( FAC will be fine ) along with a thermal spotter and thermal scope are needed.
Night vision equipment is not suitable as it fails to make the shooter aware of all the potential safety hazards.
BASC membership will be required.
This is not a permission, but it is a genuine offer of some good sports whilst, the dark nights are with us.
Please PM me if you are interested.
Thanks.

I am a 100 % Brady fan, and a Brady full leather, sheepskin lined gun slip that I bough in 1979 is still going strong.
Today this gun slip would cost about £500 new, and it still represents excellent value.

Mine was open from the beginning, but that was 47 years ago !
I am still afforded the same privilege today, however, I full understand and appreciate the novice / competent shooter scenario and the "need " to restrict the first few years of shooting to approved land.
-
In my area an open ticket would only be granted for the rifles that are allowed to be used on land, and only after significant usage on the said land.
Usage on approved ranges ( they state ) does not qualify as a reason to be considered for an open ticket.

£40 per driven bird on our game shoot and on my rough shoot it will work out about £28 per bird !
The game shoot has a significant waiting list, so obviously the money is not a problem !
