  1. Hi Snoozer, what's the reason for that? Just realised it's wrong anyway!! 😂😂
  2. Hi, this is my gun for sale. If anyone interested would like some better or any other information let me know. As mentioned open to offers Jamie *better pictures
  3. Picked up a 2004 scooby forester yesterday for a very reasonable price for a car with no issues( apparently). After the test drive all was fine, great tight car. On the way home I tried the cruise control and it worked fine all the way on the motorway. Came off the motorway and the car starts going mad! With the cruise control completely off, the car is revving at 4/5 thousand then down to two, then back up again without me touching the accelerator. Does anyone have any experience on these? Can I have not taken the cruise control off properly? Any help is much appreciated Jamie
  4. coor, you must have been in pretty deep! thanks for the reply, no oil on the insides of tyres and no rot, thanks for the reply
  5. cheers fellas. i am now the owner of a jimny. w reg with 50 odd on the clock, been fully waxed oiled underneath, the only bit of rust i can spot is on the back exhaust box. took a good friend of mine who is a mechanic that i trust. this one also did have a lift, but he said that all is in good order and the kingpins had been recently replaced. cannie wait to give it a go offroad!
  6. im sorry to hear about that, but at least you had/have a car up to the job. i must say, there arent many bad reviews from owners which is good to hear. i shall just have to keep my eyes open for one nearby. Oh okay, i shall have a look and see if my local tyre guy stocks them, or at least could get them in

    Suzuki Jimny

Looking for a Suzuki Jimny that i dont need to travel halfway across the world for! i live in south east kent price range between 1500 and 2000 thanks
  8. oh.. i imagine you were not best pleased! so as an owner of a jimny, how does it fair ? do you do any offroading in it? tyres? etc, if you dont mind me asking
  9. haha yeah it was doing it going in a straight line and when going round corners. if the corner had a camber, it would follow the camber. if i hit a bump going in a straight line it would start veeringtoward the bump. it was scary
  10. well it will be used every weekend and some weekdays for shooting/picking up so offroad is i would say a priority... having said that i do some driving on the motorways... atleast i wont get any speeding fines!
  11. im looking to spend around 1800-2000 only reason i went to look at this one was because it was literally down the road from me yeah i see what your saying.. think i will be leaving this one alone and the search continues!
  12. well apparently it was done by a mechanic... im mean im no expert with cars but it shouldn't veer like it did... i needed a change of underwear
  13. im looking to buy a jimny and went to view one today. it had a 3 inch suspention lift (not ideal for me) and some beasty tyres, but after a test drive was veering all over the road. after some research i found that castor correstion arms need to be fitted. Does anybody know if this will cure the veering ? any info on jimnys in general would be must appreciated
  14. Just got back from a thoroughly wet trip!! Caught 60 off browns so not bad in my book!! All of those were the size of my palm and caught on the smallest black knat I had!!
  15. I was never in doubt about coming down... The debate was rods, gun or alcohol. Alcohol has won!
  16. My problem is that I have plenty of lakes I can fish down here.... I love the idea of rivers in middle of nowhere with Idillic scenery. But as you say river fishing in the west country may be out of the question for now :(.
  17. Oh shoot... This really isn't looking good... Although that sounds inviting if all else fails. On a tight budget however, and the tamar is expensive isn't it? Maybe I should just scrap the fishing rods and bring the Benelli down instead! Haha
  18. I am hoping that no more rain falls from now untill we arrive in Friday and hopefully it should be about right! That's great, have a healthy stock of small nymphs so should be okay on that front. Only ever been camping on dartmoor and it truly is a wonderful place! To be honest if I catch one fish for the whole week I'll be happy just to be down there! Thanks for the advice and wish us some good weather! Stopping off on the taw between Exeter and Barnstable on the way down to get us started!
  19. I would love some advice of anyone who may have fished any of the dart and /or tributaries for fly choices and best places to go. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks
  20. cheers i shall try that tonight... which one is easiest to fix?
  21. Despite attaching a sling swivel to a QD stud last year, I can't do it now... Help please? Oh and while I'm here, my s410 has started going down about 5 bar a day, do I need new valves? Cheers
  22. Hi there, would like an airrifle bag(roughly the size of an s410carb) and a sling for as cheap as I can! Thanks
  23. New to pcp air rifles, just got an s410 carbine second hand, recently serviced, and pretty dissappointed with the shot count... are regulators acctually worth it? or is it a waste of mohoney? (im guessing that apart from consistancy, a regulators main advantage is improved shot count?) Hit me with you knowledge! cheers
  24. Next time I shall read the thread before I post... There's some irrelevant information for anyone who would like to read haha
  25. I've had a Benelli montfeltro for around 5 months now. Really pointable and cycles everything. Put a kickoff pad on it to give it some more length and it feels spot on. They are also a fair bit cheaper than the raff... Maybe worth a luuuke
