i come from staffordshire.

i have recently bin working in a quarry. the last 3 /4 days i have notest a large flock of 150 to 200 birds flying around the silt areas fo the quarry. they are shaped like snipe can anyone tell me if snipe do flock up like this. as i have only ever seen snipe in 2s & 3s.

same in my neck of the woods the birds are still on the acorns i have got plenty of rape to go at but no birds.

welldone mate about time somebody had some luck. them unplaned days are allways best.

I went out saturday for 4hrs never shot a bird so I went out Sunday rough shooting. I was walking round my permission & notest the pigeons in flocks of 40 to 100. they were all heading for the distant woods.I shot 2 rabbits & a brace of ducks not to bad a morning.

hi folks new to posting on this forum. just like to say i live in mid staffs & its just the same here. i have not had a decent days pigeon shooting in weeks. iv been doing the crows the last couple of weekends. not done to bad.
