The quins games ive seen on tv in the last few months brown has played well and as well as the other full backs in the squad. Dan biggar has been off the boil for a good while.

I think so. The chance to play in the biggest games has to be meaningful. Brown is a ridiculous omission. His experience alone is a justifiable inclusion but his club form isnt bad so dont get that one.

Absolutely ridiculous that there aren't more Scots on the plane considering how well we did in the Six Nations. Would love to see Gatland's justification for taking the whole Wales back row and not Hamish Watson after he walked all over them not too long ago. I didnt expect 10 from scotland but 2?? Wow.

I have some raised beds for my veggies but was thinking of putting a poly tunnel style covering over them to get a bit extra growth for them. Has anyone done this before or seen it done?

I think he said he wanted hartley as captain....if hes not banned again by the tour. Best is possibly one of the most consistent international players over the last 5 years imo. Laidlaw goosed i think for upto 9 months.

Hope you have a tin hat on dave! Fwiw i agree with most of what you say. I am really intrigued to see who will be captain. Theres a few players who stand out in the games ive seen mainly hogg, joseph, farrell and north. I didnt see any Ireland games hence cant comment on their players.
Not sure and i think this will be an extremely hard selection.
The only game England really shone in was against Scotland and Wales who i expected more from were abysmal most of the time.
The back line worries me and and although some players showed glimpses there was a lack of consistency overall and hope Gatland doesnt go too Welsh with it.
Far from optimistic and think this Lions squad could take a tanking in NZ but hopefully im wrong.
Think one of the most consistent was Stuart Hogg who should merit the number 15 sark but thats my lot.

Dont know where you seeing others using it as consolation in engerland not winning the grand slam??
Makes me laugh when other nations use England not winning the Grand Slam as some form of consolation for playing so poorly themselves. We still won the Championship for the second year running and more importantly the Calcutta Cup again, giving Scotland the spanking of their lives in the process.

Cotter leaving for SRU politics getting in the way of him coaching. Very sad. A very good tournament looking forward to next years already!
Decent finish for Scotland although Italy were their usual poor self.Cotter leaves the squad in a much better shape than when he arrived.
France deserved win but Wales are pretty dire and need to freshen things up immensely imo.
Ireland get a well deserved win after playing very well and gave England very little to scrap over.
