  7. cheap 4x4

    i have got a F - reg shogun which has been jacked up by the prevous owner about 8 inches . there is no tax on it and it runs out of mot next month mid june . just a make things worse its petrol also .it has a few dents about the body . it always starts and drives fine . rather than scrap it i know cheap 4x4 are hard to come across . needs some work for its mot a bit of welding on the seal and got a slight oil leak on the front of the engine and play in one idle arm on the steering .done about 146000 miles and yes its got a cd player wow i hear you say . i used it off road and it works fine . just a shame to scrap it if some one can make use of it . 250 quid nothing less as i can scrap it for that . welcome to have a look dorset area (dorchester)

  18. Disco 2 heating problems.

    could be a number of things .

    1, air lock = bleed the water system to remove the air

    2, stuck thermostate ,remove to check if the thermostate is opening .place it into boiling water to see if it opens

    3,is there air bubbles in the expansion tank = head gasket fault which will cause the system to air lock ( compressed gases in the water circuit )

    4, or even worse i have seen the water pump impella to fall off but it would over heat if that was the problem .

     

    let me know if you need any more help

     

    you have checked the heater controls are going to hot ? if it moves on the dash donesnt mean it moves the heater valve in the heater box ( could have fallen off or snapped )

    well got fed up with walking and getting cold at night so i thought i would get myself a 4x4 . at 150 quid i think i have done quite well . i did paint it which was sponsored from work lol .ok its had a few mods . 8 in body lift , 16 in steel wheels and a set of insa turbo tyres , this thing goes everywhere .best 150 quid i have ever spent .

    Is there anyone out there who could send me some horse hoof trimmings, after the farrier has finished clipping the horse?

    I want them to make a new batch of fox lure, as my old stuff has nearly gone.

    I would be happy to pay for the postage.

    hi im wanting to swop my 1982 honda xr500

    for a pcp setup including pump

     

    the bike has no t&t so selling as a field bike

    work will need doing if a m.o.t is needed

    rectifier as it blows bulbs £20 ebay.com

    the top end could do with rebuild as its a little noisey never got worse in the year ive owned it

    and the kill switch has stopped working

     

    the bike starts second kick everytime and is a real green lane monster

     

    im after a good pcp set up

    with either a pump or dive bottle

    scope bipod and hopefuly a lamp
