got some new permission for deer stalking ,so decided to have day of , got up at 545 to get there early , i arrived just as it started to break . got all my gear sorted .not long going up the wood edge spying with binos and spotted 6 deer there were 4 does and 2 bucks one of the bucks was half clean of velvet. so i edged forward very slowly .i had decided to take a smallyearling doe out ,i got about 15 to 20 metres of the deer as i had good cover i had already got the sticks sorted put yhe rifle up and waited while she presented herself broadside and she olbliged. the pic is not very

yes we did count them we picked up 200 but the terriers killed more we stopped because they were knackered

got a phone call from my pal kenny do you fancy going ratting for a couple of hours got the terriers loaded picked my son craig up ,of we went met kenny and tom ,digger driver got machine fired up thats when the fun began, they were every where the dogs were killing them none stop giving dogs a rest we began again , we stopped because the dogs were buggeredput them back in boxes and started to pick up there were 200 but there were more that we didnt pick up a good 2 hours of frantic ratting

got back from working away in france got decoys and allthe gear went local farm ,set up a few started to come in dribs and drabs ended up with 32 not a bad couple of hours
