Had 2 mallard for 3 shots, dog made 2 nice retrieves from the water so all in all pretty happy. Out again later so fingers crossed.

I've tried a few for wildfowling but have finally come to the conclusion that you need what you shoot best with. I'm pretty good (and confident) with my pigeon gun (maxus) so I'm going to sell my "romantic" 10 bore and 3" aya solway and buy a 3.5" maxus. Seems to make sense as I won't be swapping between different LOP, drop,barrel length etc...". I could use my pigeon gun but the carbon fibre looks a bit "gay" on the foreshore

Guys, I'm after some venison and I will collect. Would like whole beasts (head and feet off as usual) Roe, Munty or Fallow don't mind. Can only collect from the Midlands. Will pm you the prices but paying current Game Dealer rates... £40 decent Roe and Fallow, £15-£20 for a munty as long as its not shot to £$@!
