  6. the one think i have found when i done my stock was that i get quite a bit of white residue probs off my hands and when it starts to look tatty it does look tatty i have now removed it but intend to do it again i must admit i did do a bit of a rush job when i sprayed it is there a knack of coating to make it more durable i found the slightest rubbing against trees or postst and the rubber would tear maybe laquer would do the job but wouldnt this cover the stickyness
  7. ive removed the plasti dip off the stock think of it as a balloon wrapped pefectly around the stock or object you are aplying it to thats exactly what it is like when you remove it apart from a few bits it came off virtuallly in one peice the stock is unmarked it left nothing on the stock so it does come off very easy and wont damage your stock
  8. u tube plasti dip you will see a bloke do his alloy wheels 6mths later there is a clip showing wear and tear and him removing the coating it just peels away

    Plasti Dip

Been having a play around tonight with a new product called Plasti Dip Basically its a spray on rubber in a can like a spray paint 3-4 coats and you get a rubberised finished i wanted to do the stock black but didnt facy spraying it with paint incase i didnt like it and had the rigmoroul of having to sand and stain and oil the stock if i wanted to go back to the wooden stock this product leaves a durable rubber coating on anything you spray and when fed up and wanting to go back you just split and peel off leaving the coated surface exactly as it was before coating it ideal for stocks as it protects the wood .. its fully waterproof and very durable what do think mike

  20. as anyone or can anyone tell me the what type of speed the .22 10gr thunderbolt travels at as anyone tried them through a crono and have the differnt speeds compared to normal pellets .22 as tryng to work out what ft/ib they hit at
  21. i take your point clubshot i didnt realise it was slightly over till i put it through crono the .177 barrel will be going back on and am looking for it to be tuned
  22. just been having a play about with some .22 thunderbolts i received today i was curious as to what they were they like so bought a box my hw 80 seemed to like them but not the target/pellet catcher lol they really do hit with some force not much movement though in pellet shape after hitting steel plate lol the pellet pictured is a used one lol shots were fired standing from about 15-20 yards rifle doing about 12.8ftllb...... suprised to find out yesterday at tonys camo on his crono original rifle was a .177 but changed barrel to a .22 a while ago .177 will have to be getting fitted back on to bring it down a bit lol anyway heres some pics as to what these thunderbolts do
