  1. I emailed the CPSA last night to find out how to vote in the forthcoming AGM, as I am not able to actually attend. I got a phone call from Paul @ CPSA at 8.30am this morning, which I thought was excellent service. He showed me where the Proxy vote form is and the direct link is: http://www.cpsa.co.uk/about/dyncat.cfm?catid=16018 Or: CPSA Home page - About CPSA - Articles - Association. The full name of the document is: THE_COMPANIES_ACT_1985_TO_1989.doc Scroll though to section 19. Proxy Voting. Fill in your details, sign and post to: CPSA, Edmonton House, Bisley Camp, Brookwood, Woking, Surrey. GU24 0NP I have emailed the CPSA again to ask them if one of their board members is willing to be the Proxy Vote member and to supply their membership number. If I get these details, and I hope I do, I will post it here for your info. Note, the link doesn't work in Firefox so you will have to use Internet Explorer (and yes, I did complain to them about this as well). I also asked them to put a direct link to the form on the front page of their site. Why nobody had thought of that before I don't know. regards, /Madcowz Ok, Paul Rendell from CPSA says to use Phil Boakes (member number 9014) as our proxy contact. /Mad
  2. Ok, there is also trulock chokes at: www.trulockchokes.com. They have the complete range in stock and ship to the UK for £12. I have just got off the phone with them. Address for Laurona chokes (American Arms thread) is http://shrunk.net/7038a51b You can also buy these chokes from Garlands in the UK (01827 383300) but they are around £30-£40 whereas direct from the US they are $37.99, and at todays excellent exchange rate, that makes them £19.34 each. Jeez, seems so difficult to buy chokes for these guns. /Madcowz EDIT: Just bought 3 chokes, total $125.97 (£64.14 inc P+P) whey hey!
  3. Glad I could help. Only problem is that in their range of extended sporting chokes, they only have Modified, Full & Extra Full. They are not expecting any in until the end of Feb. I was after IC, Skeet & Modified. I will ask about their Hunting range, which are the same, except black not silver. Email them at: wicks@ttc-cmc.net See email: The only one of these chokes I have on hand is the modified. The factory is out and I can't get any until the end of February. I have full, and xfull also. I can take your order and ship when they arrive. We have a universal wrench that works great on all 12 guage. It is $12 Mark & Beth Wicks Wicks Trading Post Check out our website www.crankyfarmer.com phone 406-355-4444 wicks@ttc-cmc.net ----- Original Message ----- From: <hedley@digitalessence.net> To: "WICKS TRADING" <wicks@ttc-cmc.net> Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2007 4:47 PM Subject: Choke Tube 12ga American Arms key > Hi, > > I would like to order the following chokes: > > SKU3685. 4. Hi, I am in exactly the same position, s/h laurona with only two chokes. After a lot of Googling... I have found a U.S. company that not only sells chokes but also ships to the UK. You can buy American Arms chokes which fit the Laurona @ http://www.crankyfarmer.com/americanarms.html and only £16.29 each + pp. I am just about to order some myself. regards, /Madcowz
  5. So that is what Birds only is! It's a bit sad that I have been a CPSA member for a year now (membership runs out at the end of Jan), and this is the first time I have had a) the money and b ) the time to go to a 'proper' shoot. About time I got a classification (I home they do an F class) and started shooting at big boys grounds. /Mad
  6. Ok, found out. A non CPSA member can shoot the course, but can't submit scores. thanks for your help, /Mad
  7. Thanks. Can a non CPSA member shoot the course but not submit scores? I only ask as I am a CPSA member and I want to go to a shoot on Sunday that is registered, with a non CPSA member friend. And I just want to make sure he can shoot the course. thanks, /Mad
  8. Hi, I'm confused. What is a registered shoot? Is this one that is registered with CPSA? Can anyone shoot it (CPSA members or not) what does it mean for a non CPSA member? Or does it mean something completely different. thanks, /Mad
