  1. Matt, would you be willing to sell the forge set up separately if I paid for a courier? Thanks Will
  2. Or the cheap/free way is to take the plastic trays out of 5 hmr ammo boxes. Stack them up and tape them together and bingo, free round carrier that doesn't rattle.
  3. I'd get a sak to be honest mate. It's all metal, easy to strip, cheap and effective. I wouldn't be happy using a mod with some fibrous wadding inside for the reaons outlined above and because what has happened can happen. Not much help i know but just my honest thoughts mate. I can't think how you'd make the mod good again, other than soaking the wadding in something to get the crud out, drying it out and then putting it back in. Have you tried contacting Hogan? They may have some they can send you.
  4. My CZ452 american is cut and threaded at 16". It is still very accurate, light enough to carry round when walking and pointable enough when shooting from a 4x4. Nuff said really.
  5. I will admit that i am useless firing at feathered creatures with a shotty. Ground game, no probs but i prefer the rifle. LIke some have said, if you're going from rifle to shotgun you may find that you just point and blast rather than leading through. Only time will tell
