  5. There is a massive diffrents in seeing birds feeding hammering a field in the pouring rain if there undisturbed . Once you add the combination of heavy rain and being shot at it changes the whole outlook. It not impossable or unheared of just not that common for a good bag to be shot in constant rain. Then again if there switch on hungray and the crop desirabilty of the crop is strong very little will put them off. Good luck Cheers
  6. Well harvest is underway but with the rain hitting us hard we have that perfect situ where field are half cut . Which stops them ploughing the stubbles straight in rain forcasted to ease later. We had 500 arces of OSR cut and the discs where being pulled straight behind the combine not good. So the weather good for us but not so good for the farmer and the long time forcast is showers for a week or so. Cheers
  7. Is there some sort of black magic on PW I am sure I replied to this thread Cheers
  8. Too early 2PM and going home the birds would be just coming on the feed. Cheers
  9. Wonderful Dave K there is huge numbers of birds this year I can see a very large bag being shot by a PW member on stubble this year. Cheers
  10. Well sad news but as always there is no I in TEAM but if too many I leave or get banned then the TEAM has a problem, Whats clear to me is that unlike your average forum shooting/hunting forums are unquie in the terms that our passion hobby sport is media limelight with pressure for us to stop killing things. What our forums needs to do is show a well informed humane side to our sport and without members like harnser and others that have left or been banned. Giving a balanced and adult view then not only is our sport in danger then so are the forums that they have postive input to will have a limit life span. Cheers
  11. Well done Chris nowt rape cut up this way some barley but rape the next few days I hope. Cheers
  12. Always makes me laugh this time of year the battle to shoot over rape stubble with a local pigeon guide and other shooter. Dont remember having that same battle in the winter months when it was minus 18 . Yet they seem alot more keener in summer Cheers
