Half an hour later a sparrowhawk tried to take one off so they must be realistic but do they bring in pigeons ??????

I have found along with bouncers if there are bales in the field putting them ontop of a bale quite a distance from the pattern posiitioned where the birds will see it best

I have had very limited succeess with this type on the magnet ...have you tried real birds

I find it strange that someone would not enjoy this type of shooting as this was pigeon shooting at its very best with some real testing shots and all guns involved enjoyed there days imensley ....these poor devils as you put it had eaten 19 acre of kayle ...20p a plant 20000 plants to the acre I will let you work it out to what the farmer had lost to pigeon damage

The omly mod to fuds I would make is to throw them in the bin

Never use deeks anymore dead birds in cradles ,bouncers and sometimes the magnet ....but mightmarner offcourse deeks can be the decideing factor in a good day and bad day ,,,,,if you are decoying and there not right you wont fire a shot but what I will say is even if you have the best pattern in the world and your hide isnt right if the birds see you they will not come in

I have used every deek available and for the price they are no better than half shells ...

Pigeons dont eat snow....shooting over Kayle ...no need for deecs or hides just get under the flight lines keep them moving and bang away ....no great skill realy in these conditions

My opinion on FUD s is they are an over priced gimmock

Between shooting ,digging,snareing and retrieved by lurchers must be over 100 this year
