  1. As above - El Chimbo .410 single,3" magnum proofed,folding,very lightweight,colour hardened action,full choke.

    Bought new by me in the 80's and never really used (max 4 boxes of cartridges through it),so in very good condition.

    £75 no offers please,photos on request by email,will ship via RFD(you pay the costs) or face to face reasonable distance(I'm in south East Kent.

  2. My one is recoil operated,so after undoing the nut on the forend simply slide it off that will reveal the recoil spring.

    I don't give mine any special cleaning,just the barrel as usual.

    Maybe once a year i take off the recoil spring and bushes(remember which order they go back on)and give the light oil,same for the trigger unit which hold by the two dished pins in the receiver,don't wallop them out with a punch,a light push will get them out,once thats out the way you can give the bolt face etc a clean.

    One thing they don't like is cheap cheap cartridges,mine jams with D&J and used to with Baikal records as well(Yes i've had the gun since 1978)

    Hope that helps a bit.

  3. Well thats what my mate and me have been doing this afternoon,hushpower .410 and a BSA superten .22,score today 12 - .410 brings them down out to 25/30 yards.

    Best time of year to clear them,the way we do it is this;

    Walk trough the wood after 3 in the afternoon,as you spot the dreys put a shot through it with the .410 and if theres anyone in - out they come.

    Fast shooting and great fun.
