  1. All depends on your budget really, I'm currently researching the same, the Canon 40D is a safe bet or the 450D too.
  2. Sorry Gillaroo, Non-ejector, right handed and there's a double trigger.. regards..
  3. Hi there, they're fixed chokes, full and 3/4, few scratches etc hence the price and ideal rough gun really. I bought it as my first shot gun for rough use primarily for bolting foxes, she's nice and light and is a solid gun.. cheers C unit..
  4. Hi peers, Due to work/family commitments etc (yep same old story aint it!) I've taken the hard decision to sell up (for now). The weapons are all currently being held at Keens guns in Aberkenfig as my licence expired back in December 2008, due to time wasters I've decided to now offer them for sale here so prices quoted below are for the weapons only, they'll have to be shipped to your local RFD or alternatively picked up from the shop. SORRY THE .22 AND 12G HAVE BEEN SOLD ONLY THE .222 TIKKA T3 SS VARMINT LEFT I have for sale: Tikka T3 .222 - Stainless steel Varmint (6shot mag), fitted with a T8 reflex mod, Tikka SS mounts, 8x32x56 Hawke sidewinder scope, harris bi-pod (the one that tilts), sling and hard ABS flambeau case. well over £1400 quids worth all owned from new, awesome piece of kit, yours for a mere £700 + transfer fee to your local RFD The rifles were my pride and joy and have been well looked after by myself, being cleaned and oiled after each outing and both weapons being excellent tools for the job.. Attached are photos of the weapons, please note that the scope shown on the .22 is not included, (it's a tasco predator 3x9x50 which has now gone back on my air rifle).. As above changes in job family life etc at the moment have pushed me really into offering these up and I'd rather someone put them through their paces regularly that just sit in my cabinet not being used, they've given me many days/nights of fun which hopefully some of you guys can carry it on.. Regards C Unit..
  5. I'm in Norwich working on a couple of projects in NU... so will be in the flat land for a few months with me trigger finger siezing up.. looks like the clays may be the answer though... I've not done any clay shooting so could prove interesting .. thanx for the replies and keep them coming..
  6. Hi guys, a plea from another welshman here ... I'm working up in Norwich for the next 5 months and was wondering if there's anyone around doing any pest control etc in the Norwich area who'd be willing to accomodate me on their outings as I'm missing me shooting and need to get out into the fields.. C Unit..
  7. Liazard u have PM... I love pigeon pie and the chance of nailing for a few would be great.. Welsh dragon, hope old charles has stayed away from the Lambs and would be grand to meet up and have a lamping session just to clear the area for a short while... and as for rats, me and my mates are pretty hot on them so if you've got a serious number then we'll be more than willing to pop up and give you a hand with smoking them out.... Happy days.....
  8. sorry there Lizard, I'd also be interested in taking out a few pigeons with you too, never done it before but looks like great sport!!
