Didn't think there was any left in derby
yer there is its just finding it its hard work ive got about 4 farms to go back to in sept there gonna ring me they said i asked if i can call back in sept and they all seem ok about it

ive just had my first lesson in breasting pigeon i aint done too bad either gonna have them for tea now 
will be first time ive had pigeon usually the odd pigeon i get goes to my m8s ferrets but i only gave him 1 last night and it seems a shame to waste them so im havin them.

WAHOOOOOOOOO ive done it lads went back to the farm today he gave me 60 acres to start on he said there aint much on it pigeon wise he said how wrong was he
i thought ill get my gear and gun and went for a shoot pulled up at a laybye at the side of the road and was greated by about 300 woodyss the 1s ive been chasing round the stables i couldnt load the gun fast enougth had a look round noticed the birds flying past a big oak tree in the middle so went and stood under it perfect they were flying straight at me manage to shoot 4 within about 25 mins was only out for around an hour done a bit of reccy on the ground and it started to rain so packed up to come home ill be out again wed night i think he gave me permission to go as and when i like i dont even have to tell him im there also when they sow there seeds hes gonna let me know ... :( so i will have the rest of the land hopefully around sept time.theres anouther 600 odd acres :(

i had a hornet for a while fitted me great and gave around 100 shots per fill my only quibble was it was so dam awkward loading a pellet and pressing the charge buttom on the front when lying on the floor but apart from that great rifle

well the fields that im goin to see about are next to the stables where im shooting and there is shed loads of woodies there and they keep flying into the fields around them so keep my fingers crosed that all gos well tomoz theres a few pics of the area in the pics section ive posted tonight under anouther woody

as anybody had a problem with the threads wearing on the hw100 when takin the cylinder in and out as my uncle has 1 and its a pain in the *** sometimes to get the cylinder back in the threads a clean and lubed but it can be a ****ter at times
air arms do a 410 thumbhole dont they aswell

alot of the farmers said they allready have a couple shooting on there land 1 persons name popped un acouple of times or there is a syndicate on there
ill be out again to try anouther area today -

WENT OUT YESTERDAY KNOCKING ON FARM DOORS TRYED ABOUT 30 LOCAL FARMS AND STILL HAVE NO PERMISSION COUPLE TOOK MY PHONE NUMBER AND 1 SAID HE WILL GIVE ME A RING IN SEPTEMBER BUT EVERYWERE SEEMS TO HAVE PEOPLE OR SYNDICATES SHOOTING ON THERE LAND ALLREADY ILL TRY AGAIN THIS WEEK END
ALL THE FARMERS /LAND OWNERS SEEMED QUITE PLESENT MAY BE DUE TO ENGLAND WINNING OR CAUSE ITS NICE WEATHER IS ANYONE ELSE LOOKING AROUND DERBYSHIRE WHO MAY WANT A SHOOTING BUDDY AND IFSO WERE HAVE YOU TRYED -

just thought id post some pics of rose with her shiny new bipod and quick release sling ive just fitted i was proper cackin myself when i fitted them as i didnt want to split the wood much better for shooting of the water tower.

Pellets to try are the Air Arms Diablo, JSB and accupells. However I cannot get better than the Diablos.
ive an airarms s410k theres a piccie in the pics section rose and walnut stock its well accurate try these pellets found them to be more accurate than accupell at range i shoot beetween 40-50 yards and have took woodys through the neck at this range with them there called hn haendler and natermann field target trophy apparently there what the target lads down here are useing there very well made

watch it with an ox i had 1 fitted to my bsa supersport and it put the power up way over the limit and the recall made the scopes move even tryed putting 4 mounts on it still moved i didnt cut it down it was longer but it went in and on the packet it said for the supersport it shook the gun too pieces
