Sorry for not responding until now. Someone was supposed to collect last weekend but turned out to be a complete waster. Have had a couple on enquiries which I had previously responded that is was provisionally sold subject to payment which I need to get back to. Bottom line is that it's still in my cabinet and still for sale. To answer some of the above posts; it's stamped BH which I believe makes it a 1996 model. Would prefer face to face at this price without paying for RFD transfer and carriage. Would also meet part way. If you need any more info don't hesitate to ask. Had this email last week. Didn't fall for it but went along as far as I was asked to depart with my cash. Initially I responded that I would sell the gun. The way the scam works is you then get a fake Paypal email showing a credit transaction £180 over the cost and he then asks you to forward this payment as his carriage cost to the agent. Of course when you do check your Paypal it's a load of b*******.

As previous post correctly said, these were originally given a colour hardened finish which has now worn off. No pitting or rust. Hope this pic shows it better.

Hi, after some advice please about dog breeding. I have a 4 year old black lab dog which I'm so pleased with I've decided that I would like his progeny in the next 12 months or so. He comes from FtCH Sire and OFTW dam. He is un-proven and never been hip and elbow scored or eye tested. I don't expect to charge a stud fee as I only want a choice from the litter. Obviously I want to be selective in finding with the right bitch and thought about advertising him to stud . Is it a requirement that he has to be tested for the litter to be KC registered or does it just reduce my chance in finding a suitable mating unless he's suitably tested and proved?

Bought second hand from Bates in Stafford. In the two years I've owned it I've only put about 15 rounds through it.

Have just had the reminder that both Shotgun and Firearm Licence runs out end of next month so I have just spent the evening filling in the forms. Now it's just occurred to me that when I applied 5 years ago for the .243 I was able to demonstrate good reason and had landowners permnission to use it for both fox and deer. However in the last five years, I've not continued with the deerstalking club where I was once a member. Although I have local permissions to shoot foxes with the .243, deer permissions in my part Wales are as rare as hens teeth and my deerstalking relies on buying the the odd stalking outing up north.Therefore when it comes to completing the landowner permission forms, I'm stuck for naming land that has deer on it. If I don't provide named land permission with deer on it, will the Licencing Dept revoke my use of .243 for deer and insist it's foxes only or are they likely to think that as it's a renewal, open ticket on trust for deer and foxes? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
