  1. Wish I had my FAC! I've always wanted one of these. Maybe one day when I have more time!
  2. I do like the look of the 612. I have read that they aren't good with 28grm carts.
  3. Looking for a 12 gauge semi auto. Have a budget of circa £300. Would consider most makes. Looking for wood or synthetic stock but not Camo. What have you got? Lancashire area only or could RFD.
  4. Well after a false start with a 32" version I am now the proud owner of a 686E Evo in 30" complete with "Chav Chokes" as my mate calls them! Took it to Wyre Gun Club this morning and shot 31/50 which ain't bad for first time out with it. May this be the start of a long relationship.
  5. Had a call from Malmo's earlier, they'd quoted me up to a month to get a 30" in but they had one in now with my name on, just can't get there to pick it up until Saturday :-(
  6. I didn't want to name them until I knew it was good publicity, just need to wait now until it my new one comes in!
  7. Evening all, Phoned the shop yesterday and they told me to bring it in to exchange. They've ordered me a 30" no quibbles. So all good. Excellent service from Malmos so far :-)
  8. I'll let you know how I get on when I ring them in the morning.
  9. All I want is to exchange for a 30" so fingers crossed they'll let me.
  10. I bought a new Beretta 686E Evo today. I'd gone for a 30" barrel version but when I got to the shop they only had a 32". At the time it felt ok but couldn't compare it to a 30" so bit the bullet and purchased. Now I'm home and compared it to my current 30" Lanber it doesn't feel right and I now regret the purchase. The shops now shut so can't ring to find out and I'm worried they might not refund me. I haven't fired a round from it yet. I'll give the shop a ring on Monday but can't worrying I've just wasted a lot of money.
  11. Took it out today on clays following a good clean up. First pair it cycled nicely. She jammed mid way through the second pair! I've had a look at the piston sleeve and can't see it fitting back if I turned it round. Think the carts were 67mm which could be part of the problem. I'll give it another strip down and get some 70mms.
  12. Thanks Underdog, don't suppose you know which way round is which?
  13. Got an old Franchi 520 Hunter which every now and again jams. Been using it on clays with 28grm carts. I've given it a good clean but it still starts to jam again after a few rounds have been through it. I think I've read somewhere that something inside can be switched round so it can cycle lighter cartridges, Does anyone know if this is true and if so how do I do it. I really like using the gun so would like to get it working properly.
  14. The HSE doesn't come with tinted windows, well not on 2007 models, the HSE spec has slightly changed since ours was produced so they might now. We went for dark black on the back then a shade less down the sides, looks really smart.
  15. We recently traded a mini in for Freelander 2, ours is 57reg and Auto, Sups like a fish. Misses regularly only get 26mpg out of it but its no worse than my last Auto TD5 Disco. I love the freelander though, HSE spec like yours with all the mod cons, I added the roof boot spoiler and tinted the windows as soon as i got ours. Don't like the handling on corners though, suppose my L200 is solid as a rock so Freelander feels lot worse when i'm allowed to drive it. Good Choice mate and good luck with it.
  16. Hi there, I have an 06 Reg L200 Animal (last of the old shape) its done 45K and i've so far not had a problem. I drive it hard pretty much all the time except in the mornings, get around 27mpg most of the time unless towing. Its fitted with the Mitsubishi power upgrade as standard fit and flys especially when overtaking at speed (not like a car though!). I'd highly recommend it. I'd not heard of the head cracking problems but have heard that alot of Navaras around 2003 threw rods out of engines, a colleagues brother is on his third engine in his! If you can find one for the price you're looking get it! better still though get a hilux, they're a bit more basic and i think thy're the least powered (103bhp) on the market but solid as a rock and go and go, I had a 2001 Mk4 Single Cab with the 2.4TD which was an excellent car.
  17. Nice shooting, and nice dog by the way!
  18. My L200 Animal is insured with CIS (Co-Operative Insurance Services) for around £400 and I'm 26, no claims and 3 points.
  19. Think these are similart o other weihrauch models. Help would be appreciated, the gun is used for scouts and obviously its important that I fix the Safety catch problem.
  20. Hi, i'm currently trying to strip down a weihrauch HW25L to replace the Safety catch mechanism. I have an exploded diagram from airgunspares.com but can't work out how to remove the block out of the end of the receiver tube which holds the safety catch. Any help much appreciated. Ross
  21. Let me know when you have pics as i might be interested.
  22. I had a 2001 TD5 ES in Auto, best car i ever had. Really smooth ride but drank like a fish but I loved it!! Most of the points to look for are listed in the posts above. I had a 300TDI ES before it and that was solid as a rock! Be prepared to dip your hand in your pocket for repairs, most can be done cheaply yourself if needed. unfortunately when it came to replacing the TD5 a year ago I couldn't afford a Disco 3 so now have a Mitsubishi L200 Animal, another very capable car. Oh and recommend Grabber AT2s on 18s!
  23. Simmons 3-9X40 Sights for sale, Good condition £25 Posted.
  24. I have had 2 HW95s now. They are excellent rifles and can be tuned to be really fine rifles. My first was the original HW95K with the Muzzle break on the barrel. I now have the new HW95K with even shorter barrel and fitted Weihrauch Silencer in .22. As luck would have it I'm selling the gun as I have too many. I'm looking for £220 inc postage.
