  1. just to add to the above, when the triggers out, remove the hammer and make sure the cup and spring underneath it are clean, they tend to fill u with **** over time and it weakens the how hard the hammer comes forward, and make sure you use carts 67.5mm or longer, mine will work with 65mm carts but not 100% on cycling them, any other length or size and its perfect

  2. ******, scum of the earth, had some come down the drive to my house the other day asking for catalitic converters of cars, told them I had nothing ect ect, next morning I came out, and, cant prove it but pretty certain it was them, theyed been in during the night and robbed a half empty 5 gallon drum of creosote and a tub of meguiars car wash, pathetic :good: glad u got the quad back tho

  3. if your planning on real muddy conditions id keep away from the at's my last defender had a new set on, ok to start with when you get off road, but the mud quickly fill the treads and then the grips gone, like slicks, they dont self clear well, and id have to adgree with flash about the broncos, dont think they are that good, ive got a set on a disco trailer outside my house now, all 4 tyres are bulged all round the tyre walls and tread blocks falling off ect the kumhos kl71's as above are tidy tyres, and look cool aswell

  4. Mines been a very good gun, i had the same prob as vole 21 to start with, edgars sorted it out , since its been perfect, they are constantly updating them with new parts so the newer ones have probably ironed out the probs, ive got a few of the later parts fitted in mine to update it, i think the main problem with them, which is also the main reason they get sent back to edgars with fualts is, that they are cheap, and people tend to treat them like ****, covered in mud/water never cleaned/oiled ect, even a beretta would have probs sooner or later treated this way, edgars said that more times than any other reason this is why they play up, and when cleaned they work fine.

  5. the bf's are very good, but expensive, im currently running insa turbo mud terrains, their a spanish remould tyre, but very good quality, i regulary have my defender at 75+mph on the motorway with them and they handle perfect wet or dry and will go anywhere in the mud, my 265/75 16's where £53 + vat each, a bf this size would be around the £100 mark or maybe more, so jimny sizes would be really cheap if you went for the insa's

  6. does sound a little excessive, engines sometimes use oil when running in from new, it should get better but keep an eye on it, sometimes when new engines arnt run in correctly the bores can glaze up and use oil that way, doutfull tho on modern engines, just mention it to toyota see what they say

  7. ive got the AT's on my landy, good road tyres but not really a proper offroad tyre, the tread clogs up really quickly and they loose grip, mt's are very good offroad and drive well on tarmac but are a bit loud ,kumho lk71 is supposed to be a very good tyre, very good in mud ect but not as noisey as mt's on the road and they look really cool aswell :)
