hi all as above i have my SGC , i have recently been prescribed a low dose of anti depressants to treat anxiety (i cannot take beta blockers due to asthma) question is do i have to inform my firearms officer ? or do i leave it until renewal ? anxiety is purely work related . cheers

sorry to hear about your dog and fully agree that if the owner knew his dog was aggressive then it should have been under control, i have a staff and he his the most loving and gentle dog i have known around people and dogs that he knows. all responsible bull breed owners know that they can be dog aggressive and because of their power if they did get into a fight then likely hood of serious injury is high. my dog is always on a lead when there are other dogs around. i would like to add that within the last 6 months my dog has been attacked twice , 1st time by a border , my dog was on a lead and the border came from behind it's owner and latched onto my dogs face , the owner just laughed and found it funny that her dog would try it on with mine. 2nd time while in a motorway service sation car park again my dog on lead he was just sitting by me waiting for his share of the sandwich ! when a car pulls up , woman opens boot and out jump two labs who charge across car park and nail my dog from behind , he never even saw them coming ! after a few well aimed kicks the labs finally gave in and went back to the owner . my dog was bitten and scratched all over his head and chest . the owner did say sorry but still did,nt put the dogs on leads ! not all staff owners are chavs and general low lifes , it's just that they are the ones you tend to see hanging around on street corners or walking through town ! and yes i do have a skinhead and tattos and i think i might have a berghaus jacket tucked away somewhere so does that make me a chav ? oh and i also have a lurcher, 5 ferrets and two horses and live on a farm so i guess i must be a rural mature chav !

hi have a browse through some of the posts on this forum and you will find all the info that you need, ie hutch size , foods , training etc. tho i would say that owning ferrets should not be done on a whim , they need a lot of care and attention and you should read up thoroughly on them and be 110% sure before you consider taking them on. i have put a lot of time and effort into ensuring that my ferrets are well looked after and i would not allow any of these kitts to go to anyone who i do not think would do the same. thanks

was completely my fault and is a mistake i will never make again ! to make matters worse tho my hand has now swelled up and i'm getting pains in my arm, had to go to the doctors result = 1 jab that hurt , antibiotics and to top it off i have suffered nerve damage ! plus the humiliation of having to explain to the doctor what happened the ****** better earn his keep this winter !
