  1. Afternoon folks long time no see.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Lansky sharpening systems?

Especially the ones that are made up of 5 stones that you connect to a metal rod and a jig that give you a set angle of honing.

    Many thanks Curt.

  2.

Just take it for what it is... TV... and let's face it.. 13 blokes marooned on an island who, within 1 hour have sourced potable water, got a fire going, built a shelter and have started harvesting food whilst ensuring a great group dynamic and therefore keeping morale at its highest..... would make for pretty dull viewing! Sadly, it's in our nature to want to see misery, suffering and even death... wathching happy, succesful folk just doesn't have the same draw!

Well done that man! This sums it up perfectly.

  3. Alright lads and lasses.

I currently have my shotgun safe bolted to an external brick wall in my house.

Now I'm going in for my section one, so have gone out and bought a bigger safe as mine is already busting at the seams.

My question is can I bolt this one to the brick wall that divides a semi detached house?

    Ta curt.

  4. Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone can help me.

I have a set of MTM scales model DS-750.

Whilst reloading some .410 cases the other day I accidentally tipped over the pan containing the powder and got some inside the workings of the scales.

I gave them a shake to get the last kernels of powder out and now they keep reading "OUT2"

I have tried to recalibrate them to no avail.

Has anyone had any similar mishaps and can this be fixed or are they for the scrap heap?

    Ta Curt

  5. Orlando gun club just off the I-4 mate. Me and a few lads went in November. It was awesome!

    We shot

    Glock 17

    H&K USP

    Beretta 92fs

    Colt 1911

    And a mahoosive .44 magnum.

    And it was surprisingly cheap.

  6. If your using a hushpower chap I'd suggest using fibre wad recipes.

For 3" with sp3 powder you can use 15 grains of powder and 17 grams of lead shot with a 15mm wax cork wad. (This is from a clay and game data sheet)

Currently I'm using a 3" case filled with 15.2 grains of 2400 under 21grams of shot with a 12mm cork wad with great effect. (This is from a member on here)
