  4. Excellent thank you gents. I was to purchase it, I would definitely get the base for it. Has anyone had any experience with the leather polishing hone that you can get for it?
  5. Afternoon folks long time no see. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Lansky sharpening systems? Especially the ones that are made up of 5 stones that you connect to a metal rod and a jig that give you a set angle of honing. Many thanks Curt.
  6. Pm sent. But if the event has been filled I would love to hear of any future dates also. All the best Curt
  7. Try "Lie to me" on Netflix.
  8. Was told at my local clay club they where just a bit faster than the power blues. (Which I'm currently using and getting on with quite well)
  9. I went to the simulated day at Harborough Rocks yesterday and shot some extremely high clays using normal 28 gram Comp X. I shot nearly 500 cartridges that day and must admit I feel a little sore today. Most gents where using 21 gram loads and it did not seem to hamper there scores at all.
  10. Well done that man! This sums it up perfectly.

  13. Alright lads and lasses. I currently have my shotgun safe bolted to an external brick wall in my house. Now I'm going in for my section one, so have gone out and bought a bigger safe as mine is already busting at the seams. My question is can I bolt this one to the brick wall that divides a semi detached house? Ta curt.
  14. Think you might be right there chap. I'm using Alliant 2400 and it seems to have a silvery grey sheen to it. Thanks again chaps you have saved me a few quid. Ta curt
  15. Result!!! You sir are a legend! Took them to bits and gave it a good clean out. And they are now working perfectly. Thanks again Trev. All the best Curt
  16. Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone can help me. I have a set of MTM scales model DS-750. Whilst reloading some .410 cases the other day I accidentally tipped over the pan containing the powder and got some inside the workings of the scales. I gave them a shake to get the last kernels of powder out and now they keep reading "OUT2" I have tried to recalibrate them to no avail. Has anyone had any similar mishaps and can this be fixed or are they for the scrap heap? Ta Curt
  17. I'm guessing 14 mm lead balls for a catapult?
  18. Orlando gun club just off the I-4 mate. Me and a few lads went in November. It was awesome! We shot Glock 17 H&K USP Beretta 92fs Colt 1911 And a mahoosive .44 magnum. And it was surprisingly cheap.
  19. Cheers Deershooter! Just spat cottage pie all over my phone and the dog!
  20. If your using a hushpower chap I'd suggest using fibre wad recipes. For 3" with sp3 powder you can use 15 grains of powder and 17 grams of lead shot with a 15mm wax cork wad. (This is from a clay and game data sheet) Currently I'm using a 3" case filled with 15.2 grains of 2400 under 21grams of shot with a 12mm cork wad with great effect. (This is from a member on here)
  21. Speaking of which can I buy a few more kilos off you buddy?
