  1. Hi everybody. I've moved to Oz and have a bit of shooting land, so I applied for my firearms licence. In the UK I used a BSA Ultra pcp, and a HW80 for rabbits. Now I'm in Australia I'm not limited by power and will buy a rim fire .22 and centerfire for Samba deer, but I first want to buy an air rifle for close range rabbits (ammo cost and noise). Does anybody on here have experience of air rifles in Australia as the options are limited. I'm trying to decide between Gamo IGT, or Weihrauch HW80 or what to buy. Any ideas, options? Cheers.
  2. All now sold, except the pistols as per the rules.
  3. Cadet, Ranger, and Meteor now sold. The others are still available.
  4. Hi guys im selling up so this is what I have left; .22 HW80 with bag, scope, silencer very good gun from 1984. Good condition but not immaculate. £130 BSA Meteor tatty project. £15 BSA Cadet tatty project. £15 Webley Ranger tatty project. £15 Im open to a bit of haggling too! Collection from East Kent is prefered but postage could be arranged at buyers cost.
  5. I havent used it for a while so need to give it a once over. It has silencer, sling, scope and bag. Looking for £140 pm me if you are interested in the whole kit. Cheers.
  6. Hi I have one, with sling and silencer. Whereabouts are you?
  7. Hey guys.. Im putting my Webley Vulcan Karbine Sport up for sale. Its .22 and in good used condition. There are a few marks in the stock which probably could be ironed out. It shoots incredibly well, and due to its compact size ive often prefered it to my HW80. Im after £70 for it, id rather it was collected from Canterbury, but would post if really nec. Please email me on ********************or pm me if thats not allowed. Cheers Pete
  8. Hi Guys... Up for sale is my Ultra Multi .177 with the standard silencer. Walther scope. Pump. Spare mag. Bag. Pellets. Everything is in superb condition, as has had little use. Im after £350 Located in Canterbury Cheers Pete

    Webley Vulcan

I have a Vulcan KS... later model. Would sell it..
  10. [/img] Hopefully my pic works, and if so thats my vulcan ks. Im not sure what year or mk it is.
  11. Hi Guys I asked a while ago, but have since lost the pms, emails I received. I want to join a local club to improve my shooting and meet like minded folk. Anyone who shoots in the Canterbury area clubs please let me know. Pete
  12. I have a Vulcan too and absolutely love it. Its a KS model, a carbine sport in .22. I only bought it as I needed some high mounts that it was wearing, but got the gun, mounts, silencer, scope, bag, pellets, and a nice bag that now holds my silenced hw80 for £70 posted to my door. Its taken a few rabbits at decent ranges. It owes me nothing but I doubt i'll sell it. Bunybasher, if you did want to sell it let me know please. Personally I would say keep it. Pete
  13. Im looking to try and sell a few on as I cant bare to leave them to rot. I have enough in the freezer for me, and still have more to clear. If selling is viable then I'll give it a go. Is there a recognised size/weight for sale? Pete
  14. Your not wrong Mark I just wish there was a definitive guide to say you need this caliber, in this stock, in this lenght, with this silencer, and this scope! I know what I want it for but the finer details are proving tricky Pete
  15. Mark M.. To date ive bought houses, cars, and got married with less stress and consideration than choosing my new gun I cant believe how many questions Ive thought of over spending £500
  16. So thats with a sub 12ft/lb s410 in .177. That is some fine shooting. From the pics I guess they dropped instantly. I will be definately going .177, now just have to decide beech/walnut, silencer, and scope! Cheers Pete
  17. Guys Thats great advice, and I will be going for the .177. Please keep the discussion going though...... Pete
  18. Ouch... If you can and its within a couple of hours from doing it, drill a tiny hole in the nail 1mm is enough. Use a dremmel if you have one and be careful.
  19. Hi Dan Hows everything going, esp your dog? Thanks for the advice. That is my main thinking for .177 as distance isnt my strong point. Pete
  20. Hi Pin You are right mate, im after a definitive answer as to which calibre s410k to buy for rabbit shooting. When I went to my local shop they said .22 is the preferred gun, but those in the know say .177. I wont use it until im happy with my aim, also I have never hunted with .177. I am confused to say the least. Pete
  21. Thanks for the reply. If you couldnt have fac, which would you chose though?
  22. Yep that pretty much sums up what im after It will be a S410K, I am used to .22 springers, but the .177 trajectory is appealing. I really would like someone to say get that one.
  23. Many thanks Pin Im not after a .177/.22 comparisson in general, more a specific S410k answer. I was hoping that people with either caliber could add why they have .177 or .22 in the 410 and what they shoot. I just cant decide which to buy. Cheers Pete
