  1. If he has a criminal record he won't be able to shoot with us either. That's the law unfortunately. But will be ok under 11.6 as instructors will be guiding.
  2. Yes it is, obviously the non sgc holder must not be banned from possessing firearms by law. The caddy will be an instructor there will just be no direct instruction however the occasional nudge in the right direction might be issued from time to time ;o)
  3. Hi Martyn, lady's Wood has always been known as a game shooters school but are trying to open up to clay shooters too. Hence the practice round for £40. The practice rounds cover the whole ground and we have a variety of targets not just driven. All sorts of teal, crossers, in comers etc. the new and old towers are able to challenge the best of shots. HDAV in what way are u asking for non sgc holders? As practice and lessons are accompanied by an instructor we can lend school guns to novice or experienced shots. Cheers Chris
  4. Hi buddy can u email pics of the feeders and the spinner. I will PM u my email.
  5. Fair enough dashman. The joy of our caddy rounds are you get full use of the ground and can shoot 2 of every target or 100 of 1 particular problem target. It's all about how people perceive the value I suppose. What do u pay for practice, just out of interest?
  6. There is a huge variety up and down the country willpoon. Be that shooting schools or straw bale shoots. The only thing I can say is that we are not a Sunday morning straw bale shoot. Not knocking them in any way I enjoy them but we are a full time shooting school and obviously have overheads etc so hence the price.
  7. Basically it's a guided round. If u pay 30-35 p per clay for pay and play (the norm around here) there is not a lot in it. Dashman - i was asking if people think it's a fair price.
  8. Also guys throughout the summer a 100 bird caddied/ practice round is £40. But u need to book. Think it's a fair price?
  9. Hi all, Have a look at the link below. Lady's Wood in south glos are offering a month of deals in April for weekday instruction. Also they have announced an open sporting comp every month on the last Saturday from May - September. Keep an eye on this link for more news. http://www.ladyswood.co.uk/events/ Yes I do work there. Trying to spread the word. Cheers Chris
  10. Cheers guys. Fruity i would but the 3-400 quid for the insert is a bit of a stumbler! Lol cheers though.
  11. Hi guys, I am after opinions on the various ear defenders available. I am edging toward a pair of sordins at the minute but thought I would ask first. I coach a lot and currently use passive Cens but am finding a dullness to my hearing after a busy day. So hence why it's time for ear defenders. any views of sordins, Howard leights, peltor etc muchly appreciated. Cheers Chris
  12. If you need any info on Lady's Wood give me a shout. Cheers Chris
  13. Depends on cover/habitat and topography. Mine is 300 acres we shoot 10 days!!!
  14. Ha ha I chucked 500 cartridges in the ring at the start of the day maybe that had a bearing on how many shots they had each! Lol!
  15. I am the keeper rimfire, so they certainly did pop some lead in the air! I have got 10 very happy beaters tonight lol!
