  1. Call James at www.welshcountrysports.com I got mine from him n it was a gd price and decent stuff.
  2. As above I don't know how to set up a poll so I will start, sporting gets my vote!
  3. Feed them away from the water, gradually leapfrog the feeders or trail of feed daily until they are at least 150 yards away. This will encourage them off the water and "wild" them up a bit. Works for me every year, ducks are nice and wild and so high! Seasons average ao far after 3 shoots is 6-1 but the guns don't shoot any floppy low ones they are nice and selective.
  4. If you search on www.streetmap.co.uk you can type in your post code, village etc and then move the arrow to point at exact shoot lodge location. Then go to bottom of the map and it will say convert coordinates click here, then it brings up the OS Grid Ref, eastings & northings, even your longitude and latitude I think. Hope that helps!!
  5. I know someone interested could you pm me the contact details buddy?? Cheers
  6. Ours went out at 5 weeks old this year and thrived. If they r starting to peck at that age get them out I say buddy.
  7. Gd luck 3 weeks ish till my poults arrive! Life will never be the same again for u ;0)
  8. Glad to hear this I just bought one ;0)
  9. I leave the pop holes open in the areas that the birds are in the early days and gradually open them up as and when they start exploring. I would never have wings clipped. I think they stand more of a chance of getting away from something. Don't forget something could still get into your pen even with all the prevention in the world, u can guarantee a fencer battery will die in the middle of the night and not during the day etc.....
  10. Just a thought, why don't ya just put a funnel on the inside of the pop hole so that the birds can't exit from inside to out. It's wot I have done all my life.
  11. Just be careful that the feeder nozzle is not too high! Remember poults are not as tall as a fully grown bird!!!!
  12. Guys, Just out of interest does that bloody great lever on the sniper system bipods not get in the way a bit when moving about? Looks like it might catch on things to me? Just wondered Cheers Chris
