I'll have no problem getting .22rf on my ticket as my land is cleared up to .243 if i remember correctly. My intention is to start off doing a bit of 'social' target shooting then if i enjoy it enough i will get serious and get another .22rf slot on my ticket for a dediacted target rifle after joining a club whereas at the moment i would like one of the military styled semi autos

Decided I want to have a go at target shooting with a .22lr, I have never done any target shooting before so know absolutely nothing. I am going to get a variation on my ticket from .22 air to .22rf but unsure on what rifle to get. I really want a semi auto and would be ideal because it will probably take over from my .17hmr for lamping too but are these frowned upon or even not allowed at some ranges for target shooting (like semi auto shotguns on clay and driven shoots)? May be a silly question but as i said, i have no experience with target shooting with a rifle what so ever. Also, does anyone know of any ranges in the Alcester/Stratford/Redditch area?

The reason behind the crow is that if there's any sign of danger then the crows are thr first to know about it and are long gone, by putting one in the general area the pigeons are less wary and i find they commit a lot better. Little tip i learned off my dad and I'd say it definitely works!

I usually set out 10 pigeons, a flapper and ALWAYS put one crow about 10 yards away from the pattern

now i know what most of you are thinking - "you are better off buying one already on FAC because they are cheaper, cant be taken back off ticket again, etc, etc" im aware of this but i want to tune my rifle as i really like it, its one of a kind and i got it for a bargain anyway and theres no way im getting rid of it any time soon now my question is, how do i go about getting it put on ticket seeing as it hasnt previously been an fac rifle btw, i already have an fac with a slot for .22 air on it

After having my FAC drop through the letterbox on monday I went out today and got myself a cz452 Got everything I need now although the lamp on my air rifle is not much good for shooting anything beyond 50 yards What would you guys recommend? Must be scope mounted and under £100

i already have a shotgun certificate and am now applying for a firearms certificate i have filled out the forms and given the reference forms to the referees, got all the pictures signed, etc. but i dont know how much i should pay as i am also renewing my SGC even though it has about 3 years left so i can get it co terminus with the FAC do i need to pay the £50 application for the FAC AND £40 for the renewal of the SGC or do i only have to pay £60 as they are both being processed at the same time?
