  1. lol, i plan to stick to sporting for the time being

    try skeet you won t look back

    i did, i tried skeet for a bit, and youre right, i never looked back.......at skeet :blush: i found it to be good fun but after a bit i longed for the varied targets of sporting.

    well i lie, i do shoot skeet on occasion with school, Mike Beal the teacher who does all of the shooting is obsessed by skeet

  2. Just a quickie. Just shot DTL for the first time at Mid Wales, shot 50 and got 50/139, very impressed with myself lol. I usually stik to sporting but i was camping at the ground with school on an adventure camp and Jonathan suggested I should give it a go, so i did :blush:

  3. I did a discover diving package at the same place a few years back. If you're sure that you aren't likely to want to do a further course then I would go for this. I ended up doing my advanced open water course last year due to doing the discover diving course as I loved it so much.

    As its a discover diving package i have been told that due to the padi and other international laws the deepest you can go is 8m and the longest you can go down at this depth with air is aobout 1.5hours (dont quote me) on my discover diving package we were down for 45 mins. If you want to go for a longer dive times an idea would be the base certified diving package. you will be able to go deeper and for longer with only a little classroom time.

  4. Don't ever compare me to that anti-social oaf again :lol:

    ....at least i made 50%, that makes me feel better, now all we need is a compo at Dovey Valley so i can hit somewhere in the 80%'s :lol:

    dont worry, I won't lol! :good::good::lol::lol::lol:

    good times lol

  5. ahhh...my first post. lets make it a decent one!

    I was in Chris' team too (I'm going to lead a mutiny against him one of these days :good: ) for the nationals, we did better than I thought we were going to to be honest. I managed to shoot awfully though, 24/50, which I was less than impressed about but to be honest it was the first time I'd been to Doveridge (not that the birds were overly difficult) and there was nasty wind up that day which put the clays all over the place....i sound like an F1 driver making all these excuses.

    by the way....johnny's always depressed about something.....

    you got 25 actually...never mind, i'd better be looking out for this mutiny then :good: and yes you do sound like an F1 driver, heck you nearly sound like his Bealyness (for the uneducated that's Mike Beal)
