  1. ive done it before, nothin like the real thing, even a really fast target you dont need to give it any lead...**** if you ask me, i was beaten by a 10 year old who sits at home playing pc games all day (shooting AT the *******)...somethin up there, i then went and won the real clay competition by with a 25/25 on the skeet hehe :unsure:

  2. Anybody know of a cheab, sturdy cartridge bag that will hold 200-300 loos/boxed 12G shells, a website or anything would be helpful. Pretty desperate as at the moment I am using an old briefcase...not too practical especialy at places like Doveridge whith the hill on the sporting!

    Any info would be appreciated if possible, cheers!

  3. its notts tho bit ruff round there they all have guns in notts ;)

    Its right on the edge, you have to go a few miles out of town o get to it, really is a wonderfull ground, the guy who owns the place is great, huge guy that shows off by shooting a pair from the clubhouse door from the hip, thats a sight to see! :D

  4. dealt with them a few times, all in all, a good shop. ;) A piece of wood on the fore-end of my Winchester Select Sporting decided to snap off in the middle of the Midlands school and young shots competition at Hereford and Worcester in Bromsgrove, and even though the waranty(sp?) was up, they helped me out and claimed the gun was another just to get the fore-end replaced! :look: if that isnt good service i dont know what is! :D:):lol:

    The one thing that I have noticed is that when I went to sell my last gun to replace it with a S/A hey were quite reluctant to give me a good price for the gun. I was offered £450 by them but in the same week was offered £595 by DAI leisure in Brierly Hill... :lol: something up there :P

    I have to say though, when my Dad bought an escort syn S/A from them in exchange for his lanber Field Scroll O/U they gave us a decent price that couldnt be beaten by other Gun shops that I went to and they also threw in some extras such as a cleaning kit, chooke case and a breach flag :lol::/

    would reccomend them to anyone but would add that if you plan to sell a gun, please try them but also make sure that you check around first before you commit to the sale :lol:

  5. as far as I know, all firearms going into the USA must be prooftested but to nowhere near the pressures required of the UK importing laws which is why guns being imported from america must be re-proofed by a UK proof house. Please dont slate me if the information is wrong but that has come from Ian Butler, the master of the birmingham proof house who is also the owner of the ground where I shoot (hereford and worcester Sg - also known as redditch gun club) so the info is unlikely to be incorrect!

  6. stuff the lot of 'em, i dont give a damn if people start giving me funny looks! if anything it makes me shoot better because I know it will mak them feel bad and they just go away and hit nowhere near the amount that I did ;):D:lol: its so much fun being just ahead of them in a squad to watch them do pitifully bad with their 40k guns (no offence to people who use these guns, aren't snobbish and can actually shoot......if there is any)

    good times! :lol::/:lol:

  7. £130 for 1000 Express Super Comp 28g 7-1/2

    That's really good, I'm paying £140 for 1000 Pro-comp 28g 71/2 at my local CPSC. Are those SuperComp any better than ProComp?

    I've found them both even cheaper at a number of Shops/Grounds in the midlands. The cheapest I found for each was £118.50 for the Pro Comps and £122 for the Super Comps (per 1000)

    they were both from Brierly Associates in Brierly Hill near the Merry Hill Shopping Centre

    Also they were only £1 more expensive at Worcestershire Gun Club (www.w-g-c.co.uk) in Halesowen, a very good shoot, challenging but not so much that you cant hit a damn thing!

    hope that helps
