I couldn’t agree more. If someone wants a traditional gun why on earth would they buy one made to feel like an O/U?

    Because is superior steel proofed

My wife had a bout of sciatica last year, it knocked her off her feet for about a month and it took about another 2 months for her to feel comfortable not nice.

Did you find out if they had been weaned off pellets?

I got it from an accident in 2019, is coming and going as it please, but this time is really bad.

Been off work for 2 weeks with COVID, now sciatica…

Indeed the ducklings had been weaned off pellets…

Good news is, the guy I trusted to feed them called today to say they are still not eating the barley, but they are well and grown up already.

I trust the pool offers a variety of natural food, I have no other explanation.

Keepering is a full time job.

A part time keeper is a full time job for part time pay.

It is a learning curve fore me, first time releasing mallards on the pool.

This is not your regular duck pond , is a beautifull pool in the middle of the woods, and i'm trying to establish a permanent mallard population.

They will only get shot if too many...IMG_1266.jpg.c0339a99f58a4d2e1d93cdcfa7b7d614.jpg

Dont use any sort of feeder just tip it on the bank then as they get older start to feed them further and further away from the pond and the trick is not to over feed them keep them keen and clear all the feed up each day then start to make them fly back to the pond they need to bulid up wing muscle.

That's the problem, i can't be there every day, i have a full time job.

I have used Meindl Dovre Extremes for many season and love them. But last season I bought a pair of Hanwags at a good price and they are every bit as good and not as heavy, my next pair will be Hanwag.

Agree, and the only pair of boots i ever had which doesn't require breaking in when new... soft as a glove !
