  1. Thank you grrclark everything is sorted
  2. For the past 30+ years I have always used Bowman traps and have always sworn by their reliability. About 8 years ago I bought a Bowman Ball trap for sporting purposes. I have over the years had problems with the remote controls and of late they have gone capput. I've tried contacting Bowman via there website and their phone number on their latest advert in pull magazine, but have not received a reply. Are they still in operation and if not can someone direct me to where I can get the electrics put right?
  3. I bought it with 6k on the clock and now it has116k on it. I am looking for a replacement drivers seat without having my eyes ripped out by the main dealers. I live in the Durham area. Any suggestions!
  4. Coniston is a first class ground with first class facilities. It is perfectly situated for the British Home International. It'scentral for most nations. It has a hotel on the sight which would be filled for the weekend by all the competitors and the banquet could also be held there. What a money making venture it could be for the ground and the CPSA. In order to make this possible there needs to be a change of direction. This will not be achieved by complaining but by encouragement and support, and that support must come from the CPSA headquarters. New grounds are issued with Premier Plus status if they have the potential to stage major championships and then the CPSA walk away without any further encouragement and support Ruby 2 Red
  5. I was out at a game shoot in North Yorkshire on Tuesday and a gun from Dorset told me that Southern Counties was in big trouble with noise and water pollution.+ Is this rubbish, I hope so, or is it correct. Anyone got any up to date knowledge on this.
  6. I'm waiting to hear from Azzurri of his report about the shoot. Does this mean he won it. If so, I think it might have been displayed on this website if he had. I guess it must have been a little hard as we haven't heard anything. Who from the North of England CPSA had the brainwave to hold this shoot at a ground in the first week in January which to the best of my knowledge has not previously held a Fitasc registered shoot
  7. The CPSA web site highlighted that George Digweed won his thirteenth European Championship in Prague in May, to which I agree should be recognised by all as an outstanding achievement. What the CPSA failed to recognise was that the British Senior, Veteran, Super Veteran and Junior Teams won gold medals, as well as numerous other team members who won individual gold medals. Surely the people who went through the selection procedure to represent their country should have received headline news and high praise. Whats more important, those who are out for their own esteem or those who are out to represent their country. So I say to the CPSA communications department, "wake up and smell the coffee, take off your rose coloured glasses, its the British Teams you are meant to be highlighting". The British Team members are the shooters who support the clubs and shooting grounds of this country week in week out.
  8. Does anyone know who won the above Championship last weekend. How many took part, was it a good shoot. Who is in the team for European Championships. Did King Kevin make it.
  9. A party of guns from the soft under belly of England [down south] have made an enquiry with me, enquiring if I know of a shoot in the Hawes area of North Yorkshire.called Raydale. Does anyone no anything about this shoot. Is it of high standard and who owns? it
  10. I was recently assisting a future Lord in the field on a pheasant shooting day and noticed his 28 bore was a mile out. I enquired from his father where his son had received his tuition and I was informed he was taught by the European Side by Side Champion. As I did not know there was such a titled shoot in this country I wondered if any of our vast data base of users could inform me of when this competition took place and who won it.
  11. On the CPSA provisional calender the above championship is listed for the 4/5th May 2013, at St. Dials. I've checked the club directory with no result. Can anyone enlighten me as to where this ground is,and what sort of terrain is there and who will be setting the targets.
  12. Does anyone know how much money has been allocated to clay shooting for the 2016 Olympics and what it cost for the gold medal by Peter Wilson in the 2012 Olympics, cost against funding. I'm sure it's peanuts against the 2 million quoted for other disciplines for a gold medal.
  13. Did anyone go to Beverley on Sunday for the 100 Sporting. What was it like and who won it.
  14. Received my Pull Magazine for July today, the 16th July.
