  1. I use the 7.5 plastic wad 28 grm viper cartridges in my 682 gold e and they ain't bad .
  2. Anyone have any spare 10 round .22 mags for sale for said rifle.
  3. I agree Light force 170 lamp ,an excellent piece of kit for spotting that old Renard.
  4. I shoot ESP and a bit of Skeet at Newnham Park Shooting Ground near Plymouth, also I've Shot ESP at Ashcombe Shooting Ground near Dawlish in east Devon. For the first time this year i am entering the Beretta World Sporting Championship at Meon Springs in Hampshire, which should be interesting
  5. If you know someone with a chronograph you could get the MV from that and you could also ask the technical department of your chosen ammo manufacturer and ask them for the BC of the bullets they use if they'd let you have that info
  6. How come then is there someone from Dorset on E Bay selling Optima chokes and the auction is still running? Have a look page 7 in Clay Shooting. There is also gun parts for sale also like stocks and forends etc . I think ******* E Bay are taking the **** out of you mate. Jim PS Rant over
  7. Cheers anyway mate , Thought i'd ask. Jim
  8. I have for sale alloy wheels and tyres to fit MK2 Subaru Legacy. tyres in good condition / good tread £100 collection only.
  9. Where abouts in sunny cornwall are you mate? Jim
  10. You haven't got 1/4 choke spare have you mate i 'm after one for my 682 gold e ? Jim
  11. Looks like you had a good days shooting mate. I was like you on Saturday hit all the hard ones and missed all the easy ones, I think i had a bit of Pigeon fever , Well that was my excuse anyway. Nice pics by the way :yp:
  12. I have a pair binos called Opticron. These are a non brake the bank make which i got from my local LCE (London camera exchange). The pair i have are 8 x 42 Countryman BGA T WP,and these are supplied with neck strap, padded case and push on lens covers but i paid an extra £10 for rubber hang down objective covers so i don't loose the normal ones. I find these ample for my needs which includes deer stalking and watching fields when I'm out looking for pigeon . Great image quality with crisp edge to edge clarity. these have adjustable turn down eye cups if you where Glasses. These have all the stuff that a pair that cost 4 times as much has and at the time i think i paid about £80 for them . hope this helps you out Jim
  13. Cat you were wright about those Fob game 30's mate. I had 8 pigeons yesterday with them . Not the best day on pigeons in the wood we shoot but never the less pretty good sport for a Saturday afternoon. They are rangy with most being shot crossing in front of me out over a field of beans that's just sprouting through. Most being about 50-55 yards out were folded up using 1/2 & full choke in my Beretta 682 gold e. will be buying these again. A top pigeon shooting cartridge. Jim
  14. So you rate them cat. I am glad about that because me and couple of mates have bought 800 of them. I bought some Fob choc back along to try wish i didn't bother. They smacked me around something rotten. Choc in french stands for SHOCK and that's what happened. Bruised and battered and not to be used again . This is not to said about their clay cartridges like the Viper 28grm 7 1/2 in use for English Sporting pretty good in my book ,I also like Hull Comp X 28 grm 7 1/2 Nice smooth consistent and pretty cheap as well (irrelevant for this topic) Jim
  15. Any body tried these cartridges before? Being a fan of Fob cartridges i thought I'd buy some of these cartridges today to try out on the pigeons tomorrow, any good are they ? Cartridges are 67mm or 2 5/8 long Red in colour with a 7mm head. Loaded with number 6 shot with plastic wad and Vectan powder. Any views greatly received
