  1. Good job there. How do you get on with the digi sight?
  2. Got a sako quad it came with I think a 20" barrel, had it cut down to 14" and it shoots just the same as before brilliant in the truck. Use it more than my 22. now as its so pointable out of the truck, the 22. got a 16" barrel
  3. For sale Zeiss Victory Varipoint 3-12x56 Reticle V69 lotec coated, had this scope for just over a year has not had allot of use only selling due to getting a new scope. Lenses have no marks and scope body is the same the zeiss sign on the illuminator wheel is slightly faded and that is the only imperfection with the scope, comes with all paper work and a set of butler creeks. Would like £1450 for it, payed £1895 have receipt to prove this to the buyer who will get a copy of this. Recticle V69 illuminated The Reticle V69 is only found in the Victory Varipoint models with a lens diameter of 50 and 56 mm. This universal and innovative reticle enables you to switch between an illuminated dot for daylight use in the 2nd image plane and a fine illuminated cross in the 1st image plane. This gives you access to unique reticle technology, which can be adapted for twilight and daylight hunting, depending on the light conditions and your personal preference.
  4. Thinking of getting a nightforce scope 5.5-22 x 56 NXS got a zeiss varipoint at the moment but wanting extra mag for foxing, how good are the nightfoce in the lamp on full mag I know there not going to be as good as me zeiss, but would like a bit of honest in put just so i dont wast my money.
  5. Get a plant pot and tape it to the end of the lamp to funnel the light out more
  6. Just got a pulsar nv but its sits far to high on my rifle so would like a Picatinny rail to bring it down a bit if anyone has one where did you get if from??? Cheers
  7. Looking at getting a rangefinder but got the nagging felling should spend more money and treat my self to a pair of rangfinding binos, currently go a pair of minox hg which are brilliant was thinking of getting a the ziess prf rangefinder but how well does this cope under the lamp and how accurate is it in such conditions? Or option 2 is to splash out and get a pair of ziess rangfinding binos What do you guys prefer separate rangefinder or combo as weight must be an issue if you have them around your neck all day?
  8. Peltor sporttac had mine a few years now and going strong
  9. Thinking of getting a Yukon ranger for waiting out for foxes are they any good for say range up to 400 yards for identifying foxes or is it a case of saving or more for better NV? All I want to do is to be able to identify then switch the lamp on for the shot
  10. At the moment I am using the wing mirror and a glass sucker combination as a rest for lamping but it has its moments when it won’t stick or will fall off all the time was wandering if anyone had any better ideas? I remember seeing a hilux once that had rest on both sides of the vehicle and had gun holders as well it look the business but can’t find the pictures of it any ware. Anybody got any photos of anything similar?
  11. Got BFG MT KM2s on my truck and they are excellent in the snow, there's only been the once when I nearly got stuck but the snow was up to sills and trying to get up a steep hill but after a good few attempts’ got out in the end. And they don’t make any noise on the road and are great in the mud highly recommend them.
  12. Used them today for the first time they look great along side the real things had pigeons coming in to them no probs, the big plus point is they dont take up loods of room in your bag.
  13. Could you post some pics of your set up with your truck or send them to me, after some ideas for holding my rifes when lamping. Cheers
