Cheers guys, looking foward to next time

Shoot on new permission this evening, farmer wanted rooks shot off the pig feed! Never shot crows or rooks before, picked up 4 crow decoys, set up my hide yesterday night, put the decoys out and 2 hours later had 25 rooks and 2 wood pigeons! Had a nice left and right just as my mate was looking which was brilliant as he never usually believes me:-) Really good way to spend the evening after work!

Shoot went well, only out for a couple of hours but had 25 rooks and 2 wood pigeons! Met another chap that shoots, he was on pigeons in another field!.....must be nice being retired and able to spend a sunny day like today in the field! Farmer was happy and said we are welcome again, all on all a good evening Sorry forgot a photo!

Hi all, new to pigeon watch and fairly new to pigeon shooting! Have used this site loads tho for tips! Got a fair bit of permission, not alot of it is arable tho, mainly rabbits. Just picked up a farm with spring barley and pigs, farmers wants the rooks taken care of, and am hoping this will lead on to some pigeons on the stubbles! Am out tomorrow for first time on new farm so hoping all goes well!
