Why is everyone calling it te middle lane! It is an over-taking lane, same as the outside and should only be used for overtaking! Granted, if your sat in it at 70mph, then no-one should technically pass you! But people do and I think sticking in it to prove a point just winds people up, and a motorway of wound up drivers is not a good thing!

I don't mean to hijack the post, but, with a shotgun, I can legally use my friends gun on his land in his presence even if I'm not a liscence holder! Does the same apply to firearms? The reason I ask is I'm not so sure that it is the same, and am wondering how you could legally get experience with said rifle?

Had just got into bed and all hell broke loose next door! Went out with the lamp and a badger had attacked their dog. Small bite to the foot and a graze on the leg! Poor thing. Couldn't see the badger anywhere! I DON'T HAVE ANY PLANS TO, but its got me wondering where would I stand if I shot it? Same rules apply if its attacking you or your dog?

I have looked at the long range weather and here in the southwest it doesn't look like its gonna rain ever again......:-) So the chances of it getting layed are slim I think. But as I say I will keep my eye on it!

Hi Have got a couple of fields of winter barley, the farmer say it will be harvested in the next 3 weeks so I can shoot on the stubbles if there are any pigeon about, But i was was wondering if pigeons might start on it before its harvested, the grain is still quite soft and if you squeeze it then white milky liquid comes out ( no comments please) Does it need to be "layed" before they might take an interest?

I went decoying and didn't see one pigeon, after about 4hours I noticed a fox stalking up on my decoys:-)

I fit range cookers for a living and they can cost anything up to £15000, I was working on a site and a cooker approx £12000 was being fitted, and the builders on site thought it would be funny to do this on the cooker................only the customer got there before I did and as the builders were the only ones that has been on site, they got torn a new one:-)

Not sure i understand the law? Are you allowed to fish using lead weights in the same water ways as you shoot over??
