While looking to buy a spinner target for use with a rimfire I thought nearly £40 I thought mmmm so I may buy a second hand arc welder there's a few for sale on market place for £25 pounds and steel is quite cheap at the scrap yard and I'll always have a welder if ever I need one I've never welded before so it could turn out good or bad.. Watch this space 😅

I currently own a pard 008lrf on my hw100 and a pard 007 on my r10 I was nearly tempted to buy a ATN xsight 4k pro that optix warehouse are advertising for £399 so I thought I’d sell the 007 to help fund the ATN but after reading quite a few reviews on the problems some people are having with them freezing I’ve decided just to keep what I’ve got .I’m sure there must be lots of satisfied ATN users out there who hasn’t had any problems but I’m unsure hence sticking to my pards

Afternoon guys I’m wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of suitable rimfire spinner targets I bought on off flea bay the other week that was supposed to be suitable but it’s more like for a sub 12 air rifle it was only 9 quid so I should of known better thanks in advance folks 👍

Afternoon guys I'm currently pondering on trading in my hw97. 177 towards a used fx. 22 wildcat mk1. My other pcps are Hw100 and bsa r10se both in. 177 so I fancy using a. 22 for a change and input on a wildcat would be greatly received thanks. Mrs says why do you need that many guns for but she doesn't understand this shooting bug many of us seem to have 😅

Thought my Hw100 was shooting low power the last time I used it so a lad came to chrono it with his fx chronograph and to my dismay it's only shooting 8.4 ft/lbs using jsb exact 7.87 grm. It's never ever lost any air so any ideas what's causing this the rifle is only 2 years old and was bought new. Disappointed is a understatement 😞

I had to go to my permission and pick a bale straw for my hen house so I thought I'd have a hour with the Lanber there wasn't much about but managed 3 Had one today down the allotment I've got to admit cooking them on a wood fire is fantastic

Morning guys I’ve finally received my firearms certificate for a 22 lr I had my mind set on buying a used synthetic Sako quad when one eventually pops up for sale near me . I rang around the local ish gun shops without any luck but two of them said I’d be just as well off with a Cz synthetic which by coincidence they had used ones in Since then I’ve looked at the reviews on the Cz and they all seem quite positive. Now my minds in a muddle 😩😅

Got my freelander 2 stuck today in a field because for some reason only the front wheels were spinning. No fault signs came up. I tried all the settings mud ruts /snow/sand& grass . I'm taking it to a 4wd garage tomorrow to hopefully finf out what's gone wrong. I've had the car 14 months without any problems. Ah well my luck was bound to run out at some point 😢

Well my certificate’s finally landed through my letterbox yesterday. Now it’s just a matter of waiting until a suitable .22 comes along

The FEO also took my old certificate away and told me the new one should not be long in arriving. That was 2 weeks ago luckily I’ve enough cartridges to last for awhile. I’ve never had them take the old one away before

Had my visit earlier this week and was told everyone was fine now just waiting for my certificate to arrive then the search begins for a .22lr

Decided to have a few hours down beside the duck pond on a syndicate I beat on. It was freezing cold but didn't stop them coming out to play. Really liking my HW100 177

After 16 months of waiting for Northumbria firearms licensing I’ve finally received a date for my FLO to visit me regarding my shotgun renewal and to grant a section 1 firearms so anyone waiting for their visit it will eventually come round

Hopefully some of you good folk can give me a little advice. I've got my eye on a old Miroku 800sw for a rough shooting gun pigeons and the odd keepers day. It's choked at 1/4 1/2 but the owner isn't sure if it's a trap' skeet' sporter or game gun. From the photos the rib doesn't seem to high So my question is can a trap or skeet gun be used for pigeons I've browsed Google without any success. The owner has used it on clays previously Thanks in advance guys 👍

Looking for a 12 g single barrel north east area if anyone has one they no longer use . I just fancy roost shooting with something a little different Thanks

Good afternoon folks I’m hoping some one can tell me how you would clean the barrel on a Greener gp martini action. I’ve read you should not remove the barrel very often so my question is can you somehow clean the barrel whilst it’s still attached. I’ve always removed my barrel on other guns for cleaning any advice would be appreciated Thanks in advance guys

Wasn't really bothered about a oval but just wanted to know if the stock had been replaced although the wood to metal fit seems fine

I’m after a gun for the hide and roost shooting with 28 inch barrels I was going to buy a old browning or beretta as I just want something not to expensive so not bothered if I ding or scratch it . Then whilst browsing the net I stumbled across the ATA range and reading the reviews they seem a good buy at £600 so I’m off to check them out next week . Obviously won’t be as good as a a beretta or browning but Gilsan sports are offering a 3 year warranty on the ATA’s so I may throw my semi In against one

Evening all Can anyone of you knowledgeable folk tell me if all beretta 687s came with a stock oval fitted .I’ve seen plenty of photos with them fitted but a local gun dealer has one for sale without a oval that I’m interested in . It’s not a deal breaker but I’m wondering if there’s been a different stock fitted to the gun at some time .The dealer says he doesn’t think all came fitted with a oval . Any feedback would be greatly received thanks in advance guys
