  1. I am looking for a good used MEC 600 jr Mk V reloading press. If anyone has one or can point me in the direction ? Many thanks Darryl
  2. Price dropped to £1100. Darryl
  3. Sorry, it might help!!!! £1200 OVNO Darryl
  4. I have for sale my '92 3.1 Td swb Trooper. It was Mot'd last friday and is taxed until January. It has covered 150,000 miles and is still going strong. It averages 30 mpg. I have removed the rear seats and fitted a full load liner from the Trooper commercial. The rear seats will be included in the sale should you wish to refit them. Also included are air, oil and fuel filters and front and rear pads, 2 spare tyres for the front as the rears and spare were recently changed. Tel: Darryl on 01279 812078 or 07968 829960
  5. Mark, very interesting to read your observations. We shoot some land in Northamptonshire where the geese are very heavily pressurised for most of the season. We try not to put too much on them on our lease and have not had the problems you describe. I know that this may be due to the heavy pressure they get in the surrounding area. For some reason I thaught you and Cammy shot from them quite a bit. Darryl
  6. H D I have used them on pigeons and once you get used to shooting from one they are fantastic. I think the Finisher or Groundforce are better options for pigeon shooting because you can be up and shooting that little bit quicker. The biggest differance i have found is that quarry just has no clue you are there until its too late so they come in very confidently ( which is one reason they are so good for crows ). You can let them really set their wings before coming up for the shot. One of the best things about the Powerhunter is its very low profile which has allowed me to set up in the middle of a very large field of stubble without sticking out like a sore thumb. I am sonsored by Avery so I am probably going to be a bit biased but I don't think you will regret trying a layout blind Darryl
  7. This is the kind of thing I am talking about. I'm sure if you speak to either Richard or Jen at Trent valley they would be able to do you a bit of a deal. After using these on crows on a few occasions now I really feal that they could be a great tool for the pigeon shooter. http://www.trentvalleysporting.co.uk/Hides.html Darryl
  8. For not too much more money you could buy a proper layout blind such as the Avery powerhunter. Much better option with a lower profile. I have used mine on crows a few times recently with great results. Darryl
  9. I am looking to treat myself to a true left handed semi-auto. Today I looked at the Benelli SBE2 and thee M2. I just was after some impresions from anyone who has actually shot either of them. It's a shame they are a bit too new for there to be many second hand examples about. Darryl
  10. Available for 1 more week and then it gets chopped in at the gun shop.
  11. I would second the recomendation for Jim Spalding. His work is top quality and his prices are very fair. Darryl
  12. A few pics of the gun and also the results !! Thanks Darryl
  13. I have a 28" optima + berreled Beretta A391 in black synthetic for sale. It comes with all its accessories and paperwork and ABS hard case. It is regularly fully stripped and cleaned and is in generally good condition. £525. Tel: 01279 812078 or 07968 829960 MANY THANKS Darryl E-mail Pic requests to : darryl@dunn0.wanadoo.co.uk
