  1. Been to Australia a couple of times, I was in Darwin for a month in 2001, Fantastic place, if you are there on holiday. Gimlet has pretty much covered it. Plenty to see and do, from Fannie Bay Gaol to Mindil Beach market, If the Tour Tub (it's a mini bus) is still going it's worth it, you pay once and can get on and off as many times as you like. When I was there you could swim in certain water holes in Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks, but it's best not to now without local advice. I swam up to Twin falls, it was the only way to reach the pool at the base of the falls, but it's now too dangerous due to crocs, I think there's a boat that takes you up now. Best to buy a good guide like Lonely Planet. you should have a great time.
  2. First, forlorn Swallow, flying inland along the the river Dee towards Shotwick, at 07:00 yesterday. Don't know how it's going to survive the cold nights.
  3. Hi Ink7682, Welcome fellow newbie. How did you make contact with FDWC, did you try through the web site? The membership year does not start until mid year, so you will not be able to join as an associate member, if there are any vacancies, until then. Waldoboy
  4. Many thanks for the welcome Guys.
  5. Hi Fenntiger, I have a Turner Richards launcher, tried other brands of launcher dummy and they didn't fit my launcher, the spigot is slightly larger than the dummy tube.
  6. Hi to all at PW. I have been involved in shooting for a good few years, but just returned to shooting after a 3 year break. I went pigeon shooting for the first time, a couple of weeks ago, and caught the bug!, hence joining PW. I must say what a fantastic and diverse site this is. Looking forward to picking up lots of tips/info. Regards, Waldo
